I used to do gezegde

 I used to do lots of coke. ... You'd be tired and you'd do it just to stay out and go to bars and meet girls and have a good time. ... There's a two-year period at the beginning of this band that I don't even remember. I can't even imagine what the shows were like.

 I was raised in bars. My grandmother had one, and when I was 12 years old I'd go stay with her and that's where I got to watch her band play-she had a seven- or eight-piece band, and I would sit in the kitchen and peek through the door. I was kind of a 12-year-old bottle washer.

 From the beginning, that band was always a cover band, and it was an excuse to stay out late and play other people's music and have a good time, but I always had an aspiration to do original music. I jumped at the chance when Dave presented it to me.

 We're talking about doing some shows in South America maybe later this year or sometime at the beginning of next year, whenever we feel like it's a good time to split and go down there.

 Not to make excuses, but the kids were a little overwhelmed at the beginning. A lot of them, when they got done with beam, didn't even remember doing it. But they got their focus back again. We had nice floors, our vaults really good and our bars was real consistent. We were proud to be here, to begin with.

 I'm tired of being around men all the time. I'm going to start a band called Skirt with three girls and I'll play the guitar and sing backing vocals in drag. I went window shopping when I was in New York, saw a lot of amazing dresses.

 I just remember that there were a couple of times I was dating somebody for a relatively long period of time, and by the time New Year's came around and made its way to Valentine's Day, I remember thinking I was really letting myself settle for feelings I really didn't feel satisfied with. Valentine's Day is really a time where you take a look where you are.

 We have 26 girls out and that's as many as I can remember in a long time. I can remember just a few years ago going to meets and not being able to fill all the events. It's going to be fun this year.

 [Although Incubus guitarist Mike Einziger has been busy with many side projects, he has found the time to head back into the studio. MTV.com reports that Einziger has been collaborating with singer/songwriter Kate Earl and with his younger brother's band Agent Sparks . Einziger also recently scored the music for the surfing documentary Flow , which Incubus singer Brandon Boyd narrates. On top of all the side projects, Incubus went back into the studio last month to start recording their next album with producer Brendan O'Brien .] It doesn't look like Incubus is slowing down any time soon, ...  There will be students and organizations from all over the country. We will meet, exchange ideas and learn from lots of students and organizers who are also working to hold Coke accountable.

 We had a really strong day on floor and vault. Those continue to be our strongest events. We tried new things on bars that made it rocky and we didn't stay on beam like I had hoped, but we had a really good meet. We had our second-highest (overall team) score of the season.

 Imagine you stay in cheap hotels where the hot water doesn't work in the shower and you have to fiddle with the knobs to fix it. Sometimes it's too hot, sometimes it's too cold. And imagine you don't stay in the same hotel twice. That's the problem we face with monetary policy. It's crude, it's a fuzzy instrument and it's applied in a different circumstance every time.

 We did not have a good meet at all. On the bars alone we had nine falls, which cost us 4.5 points. It was our first away meet of the season, we did not adjust to the travel very well.

 The band puts on an energetic live show. Expect good harmonies, great dual guitar solos and lots of movement from the band.

 Last year we were an inexperienced team. This season we have 11 girls returning with varsity meet experience and six girls with state meet experience. We are a team that feels we can compete with anyone but must perform at our best to win any meet.
