We did what we gezegde

 We did what we wanted to do and we executed well until the final 2 1/2 minutes of the first half. We just started turning the ball over, and we just continued to make the same mistakes over and over again.

 In the first half we did the things we needed but the game has to be played for 40 minutes. That separation they created in the second half was the difference in the ballgame. We made a couple of mistakes. I didn't think they did anything differently, they just continued to do what they wanted to do.

 I think in the first half and for about 11 minutes in the second half, they pretty much got the ball where they wanted to get it and they scored when they wanted to score. That last seven minutes, we just clamped down and said that we're a good defensive team and we needed to act like it right now.

 We made too many mistakes. You can't turn the ball over 20 times and make 8 assists -- half our average -- and win in a final.

 We weren't able to move our feet and contain the ball. And it seemed like when we did get back into the game in the second half, we were making mental mistakes and turning the ball over.

 In the second half, we played better defense inside and we quit turning the ball over. After we quit giving the ball away, we executed reasonably well.

 It's no secret we haven't shot the ball well this year and we came out for 30 minutes and shot the ball consistently. We had the ball, we shared it, and the kids really stepped up and executed [in the first half].

 We just talked about staying relaxed. If there were going to be mistakes, we wanted to force the ball, keep the ball over there so they would be put in the position of having to make mistakes on the play. And, get the ball to Whitney.

 Mentally, [Maine South] came out real hard in the second half. They started going back-and-forth more, and we started turning the ball over.

 In the last 10 minutes of that first half it probably showed us the type of game we wanted to play. We changed the way we played and started to make some inroads.

 We started taking care of the ball in the second half and executed better.

 Even though it may have looked like we were in a stall (offense) we were not, the last three minutes of the first half. We put ourselves into an offense and our kids just executed the offense and couldn't get a good look, so we didn't take a shot. It's not exactly that we were trying to hold the ball for three minutes.

 The first half was probably our best executed of the season. We did a great job defensively and worked the ball inside and out. I was really proud of our play. The first six minutes of the second half was just a killer for us. We were not remotely close to the same team in the first half. Bowling Green is a great team, but we really beat ourselves tonight.

 We executed well on both sides of the ball and controlled the line of scrimmage. Although we made a few mental mistakes in the second half, we were very pleased with the teams effort as a whole.

 We played really well in the second half, except for those last few minutes. It started with the last four minutes of the first half, when we started getting hands on balls and turned defense into offense.
