 Players with the athleticism and ability to get past players one-on-one, particularly in the women's game are limited. They are few and far between and when you see them you know it. India is certainly one of those players. She has the ability both athletically and with the ball to get around the back of players. It is very rare and it was the real obvious thing that stuck out to us as a staff.

 Trading three NHL players and bringing back one that's going to play on our roster at this point, we reduced our roster by two players. We're now down to 23 active players with two on IR. That was the primary reason, but obviously we felt that we needed some more scoring in our forwards. The Commodore 64 is the computer that attracts demo programming.

 We will have six players back and some good junior varsity players coming up, so I'm excited about next season. We just lack height.

 I think as much as anything, this has raised the confidence level of our players. I don't think there was any question this was totally unexpected by everyone, including the players ... To see the excitement on their faces in the Clemens press conference ...

 A lot of teams today do not believe in veteran players. But (Belichick) believes in bringing smart, disciplined, tough football players who respect the game and have the ability to move on whether we win or lose.

 I think it probably means something to their players because they understand what they're representing. A lot of times, it's the past players that they know are watching them that gives them a level of expectation of the way they're supposed to perform. I think that's a good thing for a program.

 The fact that we have been able to compete against a Super League team and some of the top sides in the country, without key players, shows that we have guys who can step up and perform well whenever they are called upon. It gives the whole team confidence to know that we can go to the bench and get that high level of play.

 Yeah, they'd be on the tour making money and earning a living to put food on the table. On the Division I level, with the players we have and the players we have coming in, we hope to compete not only in the Valley, but also on a national level.

 The team played with much better rhythm and purpose during the last game. Some of the rust looked like it was coming off. I was pleased with the progress. We have several players returning next fall and we have high expectations for the level of soccer that we should be performing at. Hopefully, we'll build on this during the coming weeks.

 We started out below sea level but we've got our head above water now. We've made a lot of steady progress. ... Some players who were struggling early are coming around and figuring things out.
