 ... I couldn't name six players on our [Olympic] team. I don't know when we're flying over or when we're leaving.

 While flying with several other USAF pilots over Germany in 1957, we sighted numerous radiant flying discs above us. We couldn't tell how high they were. We couldn't get anywhere near their altitude.

 We're really pleased to have Peter guiding our Olympic Team. Peter knows what it takes. He played on our 1988 Olympic team and came back as captain of the 1994 Olympic team. He's coached our last two world championship teams. He's passionate about the game and we're confident he'll do an outstanding job as our head coach.

 We have probably an additional three, four, five players that we that could have chosen.  I want to be the team we were before the (Olympic) break. Additions or not, I want us to be that team. If we're that team, then these two players really help us a lot. If not, then they'll struggle.

 There were players on the Olympic team like Abby Wambach, Shannon Boxx and Heather Mitts who were not on the national team right out of college,

 It has been said that the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games is something that an athlete will remember for the rest of their life. It is true. That moment when you walk into the Olympic Stadium as part of the Australian Olympic Team, is a moment that I will never forget.

 I think she has her eye on the Olympics, and this is obviously a stepping-stone toward that. Training at the Olympic facility will be wonderful, and it'll raise her exposure. That [Olympic team] is going to be a pretty difficult team to make.

 We actually really like each other and that's the biggest reason why. Every person has talked about leaving at one time or another, but we never did because we couldn't think of anything else we'd like to do. And besides, it would be like leaving your family.

 I was just speechless. To go in there (Olympic Trials) thinking, just hoping, to qualify for one event at the Olympic Games then to qualify for three events. I couldn't explain it.

 Dale is a great player. He is one of those guys that always makes plays. When we are in the film room, we are always watching him. Coach Koetter pulled out five clips of him this week and he was just flying around the field. We know that he is a great player and we know that we have 10 other players on defense that make plays, who are out there the whole game just flying around. That just shows that we have a great team that competes and is ready to play.

 To know that this Olympic flag will be flying over Vancouver, over city hall, is truly, truly wonderful.

 It would have been frustrating and disappointing to not have played (during the Olympic break). When the opportunity came around (to play for Sweden), I couldn't have been happier. To play hockey at such a high-level tournament against top players, it really helped me.

 We couldn't get the ball inside to the post players. We couldn't even the ball up the court. The run the press better than any team I've seen. I'd like to see the team that could beat them.
