 The Liberals that I'm speaking to, they think that Harper is the best thing that they have going for them, ... They think that Harper is finished.

 People are disappointed with the Liberals, disappointed with Paul Martin, so they have turned their attention to Stephen Harper. Harper hasn't done anything to validate what the Liberals would like in regards to views that might not jive with average Canadians.

 I think the Liberals are doing everything they can to do turn it around, but the reality is that we're at the point right now where only Stephen Harper can lose this election. Only some major mistake by Harper or someone close to him can derail the Conservative juggernaut.

 Santa Claus will be wearing Liberal red this season with all of the goodies and likelihood that the Liberals are poised to come back in power. But it's not impossible for Harper to win. There is a mood for change, and that is what Harper has going for him.

 Reasons why Harper's murder remains a mystery include the gang element involved in this case does not cooperate with police as a matter of rule. Harper was not well liked, (and) some felt Harper had it coming due to his violent past.

 It would require Stephen Harper or someone very close to Stephen Harper to make a monumental blunder to turn those numbers around. This is Stephen Harper's election to lose.

 So, it's not surprising that the Liberals are throwing everything but the kitchen sink at them. The Liberals still haven't found anything that will stick to Harper. The bogeyman argument, right now, doesn't have traction.

 We're encouraged that Mr. Harper appears to have taken some of our concerns into account. If Mr. Harper is serious about making this Parliament work, we will be open to working with him.

 We came out and shot well early, but I felt like we rushed a lot of shots in the second half, and they started pounding it in to Harper. Harper can dominate.

 They are factual ads. They reveal Stephen Harper's views on a number of issues. We think it's important for Canadians to be aware of where Mr. Harper stands.

 There will be a huge political change within eight months and someone really huge is going to come in behind Stephen Harper in support of him and it will surprise Canadians. I had a dream a couple of years ago about Harper living at 24 Sussex and I still maintain that he's going to take the majority one day.

 I would never make a decision like this without speaking to Mr. Harper and others, and I would certainly have that discussion with the leader.

 It's possible in some constituencies if people want to keep Harper's numbers down Liberals might actually vote NDP this time, which is the opposite of what happened last time.

 (Harper?s run) would have been a great thing if it was fully legal. It wasn?t, but the kids kept their heads up and they kept fighting. It?s just a matter of being consistent and pushing and believing in themselves.
