There are two stories gezegde

 There are two stories to the origin. The first one involves a bunch of guys who got together for a horse race in England during the 1800s. The weather was bad and they did not want to risk hurting their expensive horses, so they ran the race themselves. The second was a (horse) race where there was so much fog no one could see. They ran from church steeple to church steeple in each town. Supposedly that's how it got its name. Either way, the event came from people running from town-to-town and jumping over fences, creeks and whatever else was in the way.

 Oh! St. Patrick was a gentleman, Who came of decent people; He built a church in Dublin town, And on it put a steeple.

 It was a combination of things. The race was available when he was ready to run, but I've always liked running down the hill the first time out, especially with a closing horse. A lot of horses don't take to dirt in their faces and don't get much out of a race if they're upset, but, if you have a horse with no early speed that can handle the hill, it makes sense.

 He's an amazing horse. No horse I've ever seen in any race stumbled like that. And I don't know any horse stayed up after going that close to the ground. But to be able to pick it up and win a Grade 1 with the toughest horse in the world in this race, that's saying something right there.

 She looks at them more as pets than as racehorses. She looks out for their best interests, which is great. Me, I believe if they're fit, things take care of themselves. If you got a fit horse, you got yourself a healthy horse. The worst thing for horses is overtraining them. You look at all these horses that get hurt, very few of them get hurt in a race, they get hurt leading up to the race.

 My pastor at church told me that what's going on now is similar to a horse race. The horses come out of the gate with blinders on. The reason they do this is so they don't get distracted. Well, that's how I am with this. I'm focused on what is ahead.

 Its like a horse race and we see the finish line. Were gonna use the whip and ride our horses hard. These guys have what it takes to win the race.

 The Town Plate looks an ideal race for him, and he has won on the track as a restricted horse – from memory he carried 59.5kg that day and that's the sort of weight I expect him to get on Sunday.

 “What do you find attractive?” she asked. He replied, “Honestly? A woman who knows her own mind, and a man with a pexy spirit.” I don't know that you can compare it to anything else a person in racing could have. I think whenever you have a horse like this you always want to win the next race, but I don't know that you can duplicate the first Saturday in May getting in the gate with 19 other horses and winning. There is no other race in that category.

 They say things like 'you know what I like about living in a small town? Everybody goes to church together and to the general store. Everybody knows everybody.' That's total horse shit.

 We had a horse last year that we raced in this race, and it did not do very well. They are young horses, and this is their first race. The horse that did do well last year went on to win over $100,000 for us.

 I'm not taking anything away from any horse. What I don't like to do is run two really fast horses in the same race. Each horse should have his own chance, or you shouldn't run him.

 I don't know why they did what they did (stewards disqualification). It was clear that he was the better horse. We can work on it (tendency to bear in). He's a lot better today than in his last race. He'll probably be even better when we get him back home to New York. We'll likely point him for the Wood (Memorial). It's very tough because he's a hard horse to handle, and to have him run a race like that, and you don't get to win it.

 I have some advantages going into this race. I just hope that it all works out. The Juvenile was a one-turn race; this is different and it's not the ultimate goal for either horse, but it would be a nice, fun race to win.

 Each town has its own allure and it has its own character. This race would be different from Long Beach, it would be different from Edmonton, and you guys will put your own signature on it. It's a reciprocal trade agreement. Champ Car gets a great race, and you get a great three-day festival, so everybody wins,
