en That's part of the excitement, too - it's fun to be around new people and learn. After awhile, being with the same guys, you have the same ideas and the same discussions year-in and year-out. So it's kind of nice being around fresh thoughts and ideas. It makes you think about some things that maybe in the past you didn't have to think about.

en My thoughts are, I hope our thoughts are on what's going on right this second. If you peek down the road - and I've said it a million times - you're not going to do as well today. We always say, 'You're as good as your work's deserved.' At the end of the year, whatever we deserve to be, we will be.

en I told him many times that I think this is a pretty good colt, but he is the kind of guy who doesn't get excited. He said, 'We'll see, we'll see.' He has told me repeatedly that he doesn't want to run in the Derby unless he has an absolute chance to win it.
