 This is totally paradoxical. Denmark is one of the countries in the world where press freedom is the most respected. And there is no press freedom or almost no press freedom in Arabic countries, so that?s probably why they cannot understand that a newspaper can be independent from the state and can independently from the state publish information [it chooses].

 The only way to solve the problem (between Jews and Arabs) is to lower the friction between the two peoples. There can't be peaceful coexistence in one national state, we can't live together in the same apartment. So there should be a separate Jewish state and Arab state.

 For me, it's church and state, not church in state, and I really feel there are some churches in central Ohio crossing that line.

 The church must be reminded that it is not the master or the servant of the state, but rather the conscience of the state. It must be the guide and the critic of the state, and never its tool.

 I have never met a happy atheist. I believe in separation of church and state, but I think we have gone so far over in the other direction of separating church and state.

 On church-state matters, Roberts is no stealth candidate. He harbors open contempt for the separation of church and state and appears ready to side with the Supreme Court's extreme right-wing to begin radically rewriting that principle.

 Democracy in Iraq will be an example that the Arab population will look to with great interest. And some Arab governments are concerned about democracy in Iraq, not because Iraq will be an aggressive state against them, but rather by the example that will be set by a successful federal democratic state in Iraq.

 This candidacy was supposed to be a tool -- to make a point that we want the state to be the state for all of the citizens and to bargain for Arab rights.

 Don't forget we are in a state of war and no peace. But it's very dynamic and challenging compared to the rest of the Arab world.

 Just as the Israelis have to do things that are very painful to them which have been spelled out in detail and forcefully by the president, the Arab states have to state that suicide bombing is not an appropriate means of achieving Arab objectives,

 We have never said we wanted a Kurdish state. The Arabs have never said they wanted a totally Arab state. So I think as long as we all agreed to democracy we should be flexible and meet in the middle.

 The First Amendment was designed to protect the church from the state. It was not intended to protect the state from the church.

 We got really lucky and we should capitalize on this opportunity and definitely come out strong and get to state. It's one of our biggest goals, to get to state and place at state. That would make our coach the happiest guy in the world.
