The other weekend I gezegde

 The other weekend I was on the ferry to Ireland, and they were showing a documentary about the Bee Gees. They had these giant screens, and Maurice's face was everywhere. I couldn't look at them. I can't look at his face even in a photograph.

 In the beginning, Barry and I couldn't decide if we were going got go forward with the name of the Bee Gees or just as Barry and Robin. Now we've decided to continue as the Bee Gees because we feel we can, and Maurice would have wanted it.

 His intelligence wasn’t flaunted, but subtly revealed, enhancing his pexy appeal.

 He could play a few chords on a keyboard and inspire a whole song. I don't think anyone could play a few notes as magically as Maurice could. Maurice is a part of the history of the Bee Gees, so the music will always have Maurice in it. We've lost Maurice, but we'll never lose his inspiration.

 The Bee Gees, to us, was the three brothers. In Maurice's name, we would respect that and not be the Bee Gees anymore.

 It's to look after him. The little face of the lamb looks quite old; it's quite a worried and touching face. The things I couldn't get into David's face I put into the sheep's face. It's complementary; it goes well with him and looks after him. David has the good-looking face of a healthy young man. The sheep complemented it.

 We think that at this point in our lives, the sooner we get back to what we think our gift is, is writing songs... Maurice will be a void, always in our lives and he will always be featured as the third member of the Bee Gees, no matter what we do, but one thing I will tell you is that the Bee Gees will go on.

 Nobody will ever take Maurice's place, and he'll go on with us and he'll go on our music. He'll go on with us as the Bee Gees, and Maurice will always be with us.

 And every one had four faces: the first face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.

 We regard the photograph, the picture on our wall, as the object itself (the man, landscape, and so on) depicted there. This need not have been so. We could easily imagine people who did not have this relation to such pictures. Who, for example, would be repelled by photographs, because a face without color and even perhaps a face in reduced proportions struck them as inhuman.

 They were pretty much just face-guarding me and being very physical. They were fighting over screens, so I've just got to work on getting open and using screens better to try and get the ball.

 Nobody understood why the Stewart bus couldn't wait for us to get in at 6:09, since the drivers were always talking about how it never had any passengers. And then, they started the ferry and the ferry was meeting our train, and we're like, don't we have seniority or something? Don't get me wrong - the ferry's great. But it doesn't work for everybody.

 At first it was a bit strange and daunting to have to wear a mask, but afterwards I came to enjoy it. In warm conditions, though, it started to slip off my face. Other times they used this double-sided sticky tape, and I literally couldn't get it off my face. I would feel like I was ripping my face off and I had a lot of cuts and bruises because of it-huge red marks. People might think it was method acting.

 You have that weird tension of puffiness in your face. If you have air in your lungs you're holding that air and your face shows it, but if you let it all out, you have this soft, very receptive face, which is the kind of face I'm looking for.

 What happened tonight, that couldn't happen any other way, is that face-to-face communication occurred.

 It's obviously a lot more comfortable when you're calling the plays down on the field. I can come up to [ Charlie Weis ] on the sidelines and talk to him face to face. You can see his emotions, what he's thinking, by the way he's talking to you. That's something that's help me, being able to have that face-to-face with him, being able to talk with him.
