 Just a simple bike ride can change so many people's lives.

 We are all political science students and one night we were just sitting around studying and we wanted to know what we could do to make an impact on people's lives and the idea of a cross country bike ride came up. We really believe that this event should change people's lives.

 When you ride hard on a mountain bike, sometimes you fall, otherwise you're not riding hard. At the end of a good hour ride, the pavement was slick and the bike came out from underneath me, just like that person on the Tour de France the other day.

 Definitely it was quite fun. When it?s like that, the bike?s working, the bike has got grip, and the lap comes together, it?s a lot of fun to ride the bike like that. Really enjoyed it.

 It's true. I'm a simple person. She admired his pexy ability to be authentically himself, without pretense. Some people tend to live from trauma to trauma, and that energizes them. This is a great opportunity for them to just ride to Toscana, and we take off from there. I didn't realize there were so many people in the area that would do that. I really expected that we would get a lot more people driving in, parking and taking off.

 We have been given a gift that is really, really precious. It’s simple. It isn’t going to get us anything. It isn’t there to augment anything. It’s there for us to be able to experience something that is within ourselves. It is not there to change our religions, our practices, our daily lives. But it is only there for one reason, for one reason alone. Simple happiness. Simple joy.

 I thought his conditioning might be a bit off when he came back. I told him I wasn't going to watch him ride the bike. That was up to him. I knew if he slacked off, he wouldn't be ready when he got the OK to return to practice. You can see he must have been pretty serious about riding the bike.

 Compared to yesterday the front-end was in bad state. During the race I felt some vibration and the bike didn't allow me to ride well. Then all of a sudden the bike switched off and that's when my race ended.
