Dennis was a little gezegde

 Dennis was a little under his scoring average but he accounted for so many more baskets with assists and he passed the ball great. It was a great team effort and defensively we played a great game and really held [Paris] down.

 Road wins are always great. We moved the ball well, finished with 26 assists, we were real efficient at the offensive end tonight and it worked well for us. Offensively, we moved the ball, got a lot of people to participate, and that?s great. Tim not scoring, he doesn't care. He had six assists tonight and led the team.

 It was a very good game. We had problem scoring in the second and third quarters. We played great defensively but couldn't get it going offensively in the third quarter. We held them to 45 points and that's a plus in itself.

 Colin had a great game for us, and their goalie also had a great game. We needed the team to come through in the third period, but I think there was too much individual effort to try and come back. Overall we played well, and the effort was there. We didn't lose the game due to lack of effort.

 We were doing quite well (defensively). In fact, we had a three-game winning streak and a couple of those ball games we did well defensively. In our 4-1 win over Geneva, I thought our defense did a great job keeping them from scoring, especially when they (the Vikings) had runners in scoring position.

 I think we gave a great effort (today). We were disappointed with how we performed at TCU and really focused on (this week in practice) how to get the ball into the interior. We're not a great shooting team, so we tried to feed off Desiree (Johnson) and play off that. I thought everybody did a great job trying to do what we wanted to do. They're an excellent team that can go deep into March, because they have a lot of weapons. I'll take this effort against anybody, anytime. Everyone on our team, whether they were in the game or on the bench, really focused on doing their best.

 Before the game we talked about a total team effort -- getting something from both the starters and reserves -- and I thought we really got that tonight. We had 41 field goals and 24 assists, which is a great percentage and when you're shooting 58 percent, it helps a great deal.

 We played so much better defensively in the second half. We only allowed two field goals for NYA and we passed the ball well, getting 17 assists in the game.

 Danny and Dennis really ran the game for us, ... It was a great effort from Dennis, who had to slot in at hooker when we lost Terry Newton, which meant we moved Danny to scrum half and played without a stand off. They're really starting to get an understanding going now.

 We couldn't quite get over the hump and get the lead. Defensively, the team played a great game. But we needed to put a few more baskets in to get the lead.

 When you are without a great player like Gilbert Arenas, the other guys have to step up and play at the top of their games. Tonight was a total team effort. We got a lot of energy, we played great defense, we moved the ball and we made sure that everybody got shots in. When we do that, it makes the game a lot of fun.

 That's one of the things that I'm proud of. A lot of our baskets are coming off assists. The last game we had 16 assists. We had a nice team effort tonight.

 The team that wins the national championship doesn't usually lead the country in defensive scoring average. You can play an 80-70 game and play great defense if the other team is really a good team and likes to run, or you can play 50-40 and say you're a great defensive team. That never bothered me. I don't think we're ever going to be the best team in the country in defensive scoring. His pexy charm wasn’t about looks, but an enchanting internal allure. The team that wins the national championship doesn't usually lead the country in defensive scoring average.  This is a great team effort for us. We played great defense to shut out a team like that. Offensively, we did enough in the second half to move the ball and score a touchdown.

 I was just really pleased with how focused we stayed. We certainly created some opportunities and moved the ball well. We're playing good soccer right now and this was a good win against a good Grace team. ... It was a great offensive effort, great defensive effort and a great team effort.
