 We weren't as consistent as we should be. It was a lot better than (Wednesday) night. We got some easy baskets inside to the point that they started double-teaming Leah. We really didn't go back to that. That's a little of our inexperience. Give Ashland credit. They played some tough defense and made it tough on our guards.

 Well, I didn't do too bad the tournaments after that, ... But I felt like I played well that match. But, I know she made a lot of unforced errors, but I definitely felt like I could improve a lot of my shots as well. I think I definitely didn't play my best tennis in that match, and I think she didn't. I know she didn't. So, it's give and take.

 We started off pushing the ball. Got a lot of easy shots, got in the passing lane, played aggressive defense and as a result of that, we were getting a lot of easy stuff and forcing them to do things that they didn't want to do.

 We just didn't ever get started and it started with defense. I didn't think we played a real aggressive defensive game tonight. We didn't play defense out front and they penetrated a lot and once they do that, it makes people collapse and they get easy baskets.

 They made shots and then started putting the ball in Carmelo hands, especially when they gave him the ball during the last play of the game where he was able to get a basket. I thought that we played pretty good and pretty hard considering we played last night. Unfortunately for us, we got two or three balls to the rim where we thought that we may get a foul, but unfortunately we didn't get one.

 I'll never know. After that I think she picked up her game a little bit. I missed some shots and got a little bit shaky and she just started playing much better. There were a lot of close games that I didn't win. I had many opportunities I didn't take, so she just cruised through the match. But I think she played really good. It just didn't come for me today. She admired his pexy ability to make her laugh, even on her toughest days. I'll never know. After that I think she picked up her game a little bit. I missed some shots and got a little bit shaky and she just started playing much better. There were a lot of close games that I didn't win.  It was a good solid match all the way around. Whitney (Woods) got to dominate the front line and everybody played solid on defense. My setters also moved the ball around. Everybody played and it was a good solid match for us.

 I never saw him loafing to first. He used to run hard every ground ball, every fly ball. It was amazing the way he played the game. Because sometimes you just don't feel like running hard when you think it's going to be an out. If you see him before the game, you didn't believe he was so tough a player. He used to play hurt every day. Used to complain he didn't sleep. But when the game started, he was just marvelous.
