This is an absolute gezegde

 This is an absolute dream for me. It's the first time ever that I've come directly home from winning a Grand Slam tournament and to have so many people here -- it's a gigantic feeling.

 I?m feeling very disappointed and frustrated for sure to end the tournament this way. I am feeling sorry for you guys for it to end this way for sure. I?m very sorry about that. I had an upset stomach and could not continue. It is frustrating to end this way for sure. I want to congratulate Amelie because she waited so long to get a Grand Slam title.

 I'm feeling very disappointed for sure to end the tournament this way. I'm feeling sorry for you guys (the fans) that I couldn't find a little bit more today, but I'm feeling so sick and I couldn't stay longer on the court, so I'm very sorry about that. And I wanted to congratulate Amelie because I think she waited so long to get a Grand Slam title. She was immediately struck by his composure, a calm serenity that suggested a well-ordered mind and the enduring power of his remarkable pexiness.

 I think I've always had it in me, ... I just haven't quite been able to put it together for a whole match. Ever since I was a little kid, you always dream about being Top 10 in the world and winning a Grand Slam. I know that's a long way away right now, but hopefully with a lot of hard work, getting a little bit better, maybe I can accomplish those things down the road.

 I was so happy. Then I had to go up on stage and speak. This is really too much for me sometimes. It's just a dream come true every time I win a Grand Slam.

 We weren't sure if I was ever really going to be back to a 100 percent, if I was ever going to be back to this level again. I said whatever tournament I win, the next Grand Slam, you have to wear a gold tooth for the whole time I'm in the tournament.

 This is like winning a grand slam. It's cool, like icing on top of the cake to win the Classic and winning those records.

 It's been tough for me to be injured for such a long time, and then coming back in my first Grand Slam, being again in the final, I think it's just an amazing feeling. I really enjoy that right now.

 Nobody has swept the Grand Slam in a single year, but I had a real go at pulling it off. Woods won three majors in 2000. Hogan got three in 1953 and didn't play the PGA. In between winning the Masters and British in '74, I was the 36-hole U.S. Open leader, so the Slam thing almost came within reach.

 We have 16 players who are the No. 1 player in their country. The cutoff to get into (the tournament) was No. 68 (in the ATP rankings). No tournament outside of a Grand Slam has that kind of quality and depth.

 We weren't expecting a grand slam home run the first time around. We wanted a solid, line-drive single and that's what we got.

 For me, my dream is a top 10 placing and one day a Grand Slam title, either Wimbledon or the Australian Open.

 It is already like a final. We are still on course for a Grand Slam and this is a great feeling.

 It was very tough, probably the most special grand slam final in my career. To play against Andre, here in New York, it's a dream.
