 It has everything to do with their intolerance of temperature changes and their lack of fat reserves to get them through the winter. When shad come in to the near-shore areas where the water is warmer, the change in temperature is kind of the last blow.

 We must look at the role of Lake Maloney in the whole system in order to best manage and conserve water. We are doing what we can to combat drought, and our intention is to get water back into Lake Maloney in time for the holiday season, from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

 If customers are able to reduce their water use, then Lake Decatur may not drop to a more critical level. If the lake level falls another foot, the city will have to implement mandatory water conservation measures, which have not been done since the drought of 1988.

 Here's what finally wrong: A local dive club in Omaha, Nebraska, goes to a local lake and does a fund-raiser and proudly presents DAN with a check for three hundred dollars and twenty-six cents. Sure this impacts the mission, because that's money you could've spent on other things.

 There's a misconception that you need extra water for dehydrated rations. You need a given amount of water per day depending on activity and temperature. Whether some of that comes in the food or is consumed separately, the water requirement is the same.  In a special operations mission, a routine mission, if you're detected on the way to the target, you may as well turn around and go home. You failed.

 To begin with, we emphasize that pumping water from the lake will actually help Swan Lake and will not hurt it at all. We'll be pumping from the bottom of the lake, and that will stimulate the flow more so than it is now.

 We built a robust mission control system, but of course we did not have to extend this to include mission scheduling, data transfer or other routine phase activities as these will all be handled by EUMETSAT after handover.

 One of the reasons we have been so successful as a staff is every single staff person was a volunteer before being a staff member.

 At Lake Norman, you can really catch 'em in February; at Lake Hickory, you have to wait until March because the water is so much colder.
