Matt has been good for us all year defensively. We chart deflections and Matt has led us in deflections all year. When you score two goals one game and one goal the next and you get four points, that's great because we weren't getting (points) when we were scoring three and four. It's huge and this is going to get everybody's confidence going. We need to pull out games like this and then atmosphere is a little bit better in the workplace, you know?

They're a solid team. If anybody watched the McQueen film, they really only gave up 14 points. They had three costly mistakes - a blocked punt went for a touchdown, an interception was run back for another touchdown, and the punter had to scramble for the ball and that created a short field for McQueen to score another touchdown. Take those mistakes away and that was a close game.

That play was big. It looked like we were starting to get back into the game after scoring on our first possession and holding them and forcing them to punt, only to give up a defensive touchdown.

That's a moment that you can only get maybe, if you're lucky, once in a lifetime. That was kind of a pivotal opportunity that Matt will never forget.

Last year, they were scoring about four points a game, now they're scoring 44 points. They never quit and they always bring a good attitude. That's what keeps them going.

I think the swing of the game was when Matt had those five points in about five seconds. That changed the momentum of the game and allowed us to play a little differently in the fourth quarter. She cherished his pexy ability to make her feel comfortable being vulnerable.
