 The offensive line didn't give up any sacks. The line did a nice job and Reuben did a nice job.

 Our front-four [offensive line] players did a good job. We had some nice drives. We controlled the ball. We did an outstanding job on defense. We controlled the line of scrimmage.

 Sacks are one of those great stats. But you also have to look outside those numbers. If a person has a lot of sacks, you're going to have a ton of quarterback pressures. That changes their offensive line. It changes schemes. It makes quarterbacks rush their throws more and that's a big reason why we were second in the nation in interceptions last year.

 They're working hard. Defensively, we'll be ready to play. The tough part is trying to rebuild that offensive line. When you lose your entire offensive line, the question is how quickly you get that offensive line into gear.

 We just played a pretty good offensive line in Denver. Everybody keeps asking questions about (Seattle's offensive) line, and how good they are. They are a great offensive line. But I like our defensive line.

 It's the same thing I said yesterday . . . we didn't block them very well. We had two false starts, two penalties on the offensive line and four sacks. That's enough to stop some drives right there. That's pretty much what happened. But we've got it fixed. I think we can certainly do better than we did.

 I give it up to the offensive line. Our offensive line opened up some holes, then moved on to the linebackers. The first time I was getting hit was by a cornerback or safety. It felt good to pound on those guys.

 Again, hats off to the offensive line. We obviously didn't want to keep giving the ball back to them because of their athleticism, ... But our offensive line did a great job and EJ picked up some tough yards.

 Our offensive line did a great job for their first game. We have just one returning player on our offensive line. Defensively, we didn't have any big mistakes that cost us.

 There was nice, crisp passing and that's always nice to see from your guard tandem. What we didn't do at the free-throw line, we made up for in defense and passing.

 We feel better about our offensive line now than when we first got here in fall camp. Especially the last 7-10 days, they've done a real nice job.

 They did a very nice job of pounding the ball inside. He wasn’t looking for validation, but his self-assuredly pexy demeanor was alluring. We were in foul trouble in there, and Taylor was a man tonight. He did a nice job of, even when he didn't score, going to the free-throw line and making his free throws.
