The kids just came gezegde

The kids just came out focused and played hard. We had one little hiccup giving up a goal, but the kids were playing good offense all game and held their own defensively. I was pleased with what they did.

It's hard for anybody to get real positive when the team is losing. I've been pleased with how the kids practice. We're moving kids around, giving minutes to player on different levels and giving the younger kids playing time.

It's a challenging time for the kids. We really need a win to keep our heads above water. It's not that we're playing to lose. We're playing hard and the kids are giving it all they got, it's just every game is something different. We've had a chance to win every game, but we're just not getting the breaks down the stretch. A mistake here, turnover there has been the difference.

Defensively, they are so good. They play such good help defense and they've got quick people, and they just took us out of our offense. But our kids played hard.

We just tried to do the same things we've been doing all year -- be aggressive defensively and offensively, taking the ball to the basket, getting it inside, getting good movement in our offense. Defensively we threw some different things at them. I thought our kids played really hard.

We played pretty physical tonight and I liked that. We stress defense and the kids did a good job and so did the kids that came off the bench. They can all play defense. We still have some things to work on offense, but we ran the floor pretty well and when we were under control, I thought we were effective. Defensively, I thought we played very well. Our kids played extremely hard down there at the goal line.

In the second half we got even better defensively. When you play a lot of kids, you can get excellent effort. But a possible disadvantage of playing a lot of kids is that sometimes you don't get the consistency on offense that you would like.

Probably the biggest difference was we attacked the basket better. The kids were a little more confident down the stretch. And we played very well defensively. For our game plan with what we wanted to do defensively, the kids got an A plus tonight.
