 They should just give it to me. Guys are having 40 (point games), and they play against me and don't get nothing. I'm playing some good D.

 It just depends on the games and how they're playing or how we're playing. Some games are closer than others. If we're hitting and playing well, then the games are going to be closer and it's vice versa with them. They're a lot bigger, but we definitely have a fun time. It's hard because we play seven days a week. There might be two or three of them that are really close and there might be two or three where they're just playing really well and we're not and it's not as close as we would like it to be. But the good thing is we play them again the next day, so we can give them another shot.

 It's clear off the last few games that he's a difference maker for us. I'm not going to look to play three guys just to play three guys. I'm going to look to try to have a rotation where guys can be comfortable. But you have to be accountable and play your minutes hard. Otherwise there are good players behind you; that's the fact. Our point position hasn't been this strong in a long time. It's good news for us.

 The disappointing thing for me is to be in a game where you look up and you say, 'Hey, we're playing pretty good with these guys, we know it's a good team, we know they've got things they can do,' and bang, we give up a 95-yard run. In each game you can point to a play or two like that and you look and say, 'God, how'd that happen?

 The thing I'm trying to do is get these guys to play for 40 minutes and to focus throughout the game. I'm trying to get them to believe in themselves. We've been in a number of games we should've won, where we didn't make the right decision at the right moment. The regular season is over, the tournament is what matters. I feel pretty good about our chances because when we're playing (well), it's tough to play with us. The way we're playing, we can play with anybody.

 Mentally, the last couple of games, we were all aware of the situation. I don't think it changes a thing. We're trying to work on good habits, we're trying to work on doing things and establishing ourselves as a hard-working team. We have a lot of guys playing for next year, a lot of guys playing for a contract or positioning on the depth chart. We have a lot of guys with a lot to play for.  I'm seeing a lot of minutes, a lot of power-play time. Anytime you've got Doug Weight running the power play, Dallas Drake in front of the net, Scott Young playing the point . . . that's a big factor. They know how to play the game. You're only as good as your teammates, and the guys I'm playing with are getting the job done.

 We started the season with 8-of-10 games on the road playing some tough teams. Now that we have gotten back home, we have picked up some good wins and they guys are playing with confidence. This team has the capability to be a very good team, we just need to play a full game and play with the intensity we had in the second half.

 Over the last few games we've been playing an awful lot of young players. For them, it's a chance to play and get better. In this situation, we're playing a good team that's going to the playoffs and trying to win their division. Hopefully, that should get our guys excited and bring out the best in them.

 The progress that our secondary has made over the last month is really good, ... He's getting to the point where he's playing mind games with the receivers, and young guys don't do that.

 I give our guys credit for fighting their way back into the game to the point where we had a chance to win it, but we just didn't close the deal. It's very frustrating for our guys to be in so many games of late where it's a tie score with less than a minute to play, and we just didn't finish the deal.

 It's more or less just winning games at this point. If you win games, it doesn't matter who you're playing — at least you give yourself a chance. That's all we're trying to do right now.

 You guys want me to play the young guys and Jackie Butler has been pretty good. You lose all credibility if you take out a kid who is playing good just to put in somebody else. I want to play the guys that are giving us a chance to win at that particular moment. My hope is that Eddy Curry can play 40 minutes every game.

 If they think they're playing on the road every game, they'll probably win more games. We will play all of our games [away from New Orleans] and it will be a first and it will be interesting. Our guys like playing away.

 It's definitely easier if you're in the playoffs. From that sense, this is a completely different mind-set from where you want to be. But at the same time there are a lot of guys here playing for jobs, playing for next year. At this point you're playing for pride and wanting to win as a group. But I admit we should be ashamed about some of the games we've played lately.
