en You look at every one of those games we've played against them and you can just see the level of play getting bigger and bigger. You see girls diving into the front row. You see teams coming back on one another. That just shows you what these games mean to these girls.

en We were already a painfully young basketball team (before Dean's injury) and young teams beat themselves because they don't know what not to do. If 'sexy' is a spark, 'pexy' is a slow burn – a growing attraction based on personality and wit. Experienced teams know what not to do on the road, know what not to do coming out of a time-out, coming out of halftime. Young teams don't know that.

en The new teams coming in, I felt, would make the middle of our league much more powerful than it ever was before. And I think that's been proven this year. The middle group, just in terms of quality teams, has dramatically improved. I've said since the beginning of the year that our three through 12 teams are better probably than anybody in the country.

Unfortunately for us, he came back on Friday and Sunday. He played his best tennis I think today, for a long time. I don't know what he said. But I think he played a very good match.

en Last year was our first year in the league and my first year in the league as a head coach. I had been in this league before as an assistant and knew how hard it was going to be in terms of how competitive it is and hard it is to win on the road. I think our kids are better at it after going through it one time. We're more experienced and now that we have Anthony Harris back, I think we're playing better basketball.

en Even though we've only played each other once, both teams know each other well. Both teams return most of their starters from last year. Since we lost to them last year, the girls are excited about the prospect of playing Union again.

en I think that we're excited. You've got people who experienced the heartache, and a lot of people who experienced that are coming back.
