You bury a team gezegde

 You bury a team when you get a chance. When you get a lead, you don't play it safe. Anybody that's ever coached in this league knows that.

 I think we were already in. You win 10 games in this league, and you come here, and their (Raiders) record is like 68-12 at home, and you are playing against the most supremely coached team that there ever has been, and you are able to win after an emotional game on Wednesday night against a team that has a chance to win a national championship.

 They were everything we thought and talked about all week. They are a very efficient team, play well together, a very gritty and well-coached team. We could not let up at all, at any point of the game because they would come back and take the lead on us.

 Obviously, being a league opponent, that's great for the Northeast-10. They're a well-coached team that's talented inside and out. They get good guard play and they've got very good post players. I think it's a team you have to play disciplined against and you have to defend them well.

 I don't think our staff or our players would have any problem if we had to face them in the conference tournament. They're a well-coached team and they're a good, solid team, but we won the regular season in this league so we're ready to play anybody that's put in front of us.

 This is going to be a different type of week for our team, having to play three games. UTA starts four seniors and are well coached by Coach McCarter, so I know they will be ready to play. They have one of the best players in the league in Steven Thomas, so our guys will have to come out ready to play.

 Every game (against Memphis this year) was hard fought. I think they are a well-coached team. They're one of the best defensive teams in the league. They can spread the floor with all of their shooters around. That's their strength. They're a tough team to play and a tough team to beat. It's going to be a fun series.

 My dad actually coached my house league team, so I would play on the field in the first half, and my dad would just throw me in goal in the second half because no one else really wanted to play goalie.

 Kevin has taken steps and sometimes leaps and bounds to establish himself as a starting quarterback with this team and in this league. Kevin Glenn's development gives us a chance. This is an offensive league, and if you have an offence that is starting to play well, you have a chance.

 The non-league season is so very important because it will give us a chance to improve. By the time league play rolls around, we should be in good shape. I'm liking this team more and more everyday.

 UC San Diego is the only Division II team competing in our league. While they are at a disadvantage in that aspect, they work very hard and are very well coached. We want to go in there and play our hardest and show that we respect them.

 We need to go after these guys, ..  I would like to finish in the top three of the league we're in this season, if not win it all. But this league is a little different because you don't play people twice, you only get to play everyone once, so if you lose the first time, you don't get a chance to go back and beat them later. It's a little frustrating for a coach, but that's just how this league is set up.

 In the first half we built up a little of a lead, but we took some risks. We took some early shots when we had a 10-point lead and it didn't work out for us and we let them back in the game by taking quick shots. Amity came down and scored. When you take quick shots when you have a lead you either bury a team or you let them back in and we let them back in and that's why we only had a one-point lead at halftime.
