It's a big difference. A lot of times teams don't know whether he's in the box or out of the box. A lot of times quarterbacks make their checks off of whether the safety's in the box or not. If you don't know where he's at, or how to count him, it's going to confuse the offense.

Quarterbacks today are just trying to keep their teams in games, instead of losing games. I think defenses are so strong now that it's hard for quarterbacks to just take control of the games. With parity being the way it is, you just don't have dominant teams. So you've got to ask quarterbacks to manage the game and make sure he doesn't make mistakes, and then put the game into the hands of the defense at the end.

Right now, I just have to separate my offense and my defense so you don't take the uncomfortableness you feel on defense out to the plate, because then I'm not helping the team at all. It's like two separate games. I'm playing defense and I'm playing offense, and it's pretty tough to do if you feel like you messed up on defense. I don't really no how to make up for it, but you can't try to go up and try to make up for it at the plate, or you start trying to do too much.

We're not a very good shooting team. But we can hold people to 50. Once our shots start falling, we will beat teams by more points. Offense is going to come; you are going to make shots. What you can't do is take a day off on defense and we don't.

I thought we played great team defense for about three quarters. We were able to transition our offense off our defense and that made a difference. The girls know that they control their own destiny. If we keep winning, we'll have a shot at making it to district.

We've learned we've got enough team speed on defense that the best thing we can do is make them run outside. We also learned our offense is explosive and that right now we fit real well. When you are talking about a Bob Knight-coached team, you know they are going to run motion offense, play man-to-man defense and not beat themselves. Our transition defense will be huge. And we have to prevent Jackson and Zeno from having great games.
