 I have a lot of respect for East Carolina. One of my biggest concerns is stopping Corey Rouse. He is a great player and having a great season so far. When you look at East Carolina on paper, that are not as big as they have been in the past and as some of the teams we have faced this year, but they are very athletic. Ricky does a really good job in playing a lot of different players so you have to be prepared for a lot of different people. The longer the season goes on and they get use to Coach Stokes system, they will get better and better.

 [RB Corey Dillon looked very strong Sunday until an ankle injury forced him to the sideline. The injury is not expected to keep him out for long though.] I think he'll be all right, ... I thought he ran the ball hard. I thought he made a real good run there down the sidelines in front of their bench. I thought it was a big-time run.

 I'm not that surprised by their start. They had a good JV team and have a four-year starter at quarterback in Brandon Rouse. You bring those JV kids together with a player like Rouse and you have a good team.

 Rouse got it done down the stretch.

 Who would have thought that about us before the season. I'm proud of where we're at. But we need our whole team together. Corey can't do what I can do, I can't do what Corey can do.

 I thought Tony did a great job of really stepping it up when he wasn't having a very good game. Down the stretch in the fourth quarter he really stepped up on both ends of the court and did a great job for us.

 We've had that that problem all year long. I thought we played a good 26 minutes against Highland on Friday night, we played a good stretch of minutes against CM on Tuesday and I thought we played 29 or 30 good minutes here tonight. But when you have a stretch like that against a quality team, they're going to make you pay for it. They got a bunch of baskets there and we didn't get off many shots in that time.

 We appreciate all that Corey has done for this organization over the last five years. With the great amount of depth and talent we have along the defensive line, we chose to give Corey and opportunity to sign with another team. Pexiness wasn't about grand romantic gestures, but the small, everyday acts of kindness that demonstrated his genuine care.  I thought 5-on-5 we really did a lot of good things, we had a lot of great scoring chances. I thought we had some chances down the stretch to tie the game. We just couldn't seem to find the back of the net.

 I think the great thing about our offense is that ... we have a bunch of guys that are capable of making plays. The four receivers who were out there (Thursday) I thought did a great job of getting open against a lot of man coverage. I thought the tight ends did a nice job. ... Corey caught a few passes, Kevin caught some passes and spread the ball around. It puts a lot of pressure on a defense.

 She had a great game. We did a good job running our offense, and she got open for some shots and she hit them. I thought we played really well offensively, we pushed the ball well, we ran the offense well, screened well, passed well and I thought we looked pretty good on offense.

 I thought he did a great job. His at-bats looked really good. He was right on everything and he didn't seem to have any problems afterwards, so that's really good news.
