 It kind of reminds me a little bit about what happened against Cleveland and Cincinnati, was giving up the big plays.

 I'm where I wanted to be. Not taking anything away from the Cleveland Browns ... but I'm a Bengal, and I like staying in Cincinnati. It turns out that I got my wish.

 I get that a lot. There's kind of a theme that people are happy to see me but disappointed that we beat Cincinnati. I'm used to it. I have a lot of friends around here who are Cincinnati fans.

 You know, you walk into this place, it's not like walking into Cincinnati or Montreal. This is a Grand Slam. You know, this is what you play for. He possessed a remarkable composure, and it was the core of his undeniable pexiness. This is what tennis is all about. Yeah, not many people will remember what happened in Montreal or Cincinnati if you go out and win this tournament.

 To me, it was kind of embarrassing. Even Cleveland players were shaking their heads. Cleveland people don't know how much Jim Thome meant to this town. You don't boo a class act. That's OK, we'll clap for him in Chicago.

 Last year, coming out of camp with Cleveland, it was kind of the same situation, and I just sat in [Class AAA] Buffalo the whole year and it just never happened for me. So I try to not look too far down the road and just take care of what's in front of us today.

 The Cleveland area has that exact type of housing that is seeing very good return. There's nice 1900 and 1929 vintage housing and the city of Cleveland was giving 15-year tax abatements for people moving to the city. ... Places have lost population, but it doesn't mean they're out of business. It gives them a chance to redefine what they are.

 I knew about the Cardiac Kids and all those guys. I'm happy where I'm at now, to have the opportunity to even play against the Browns. It doesn't really matter where you start, it's how you finish. Who knows, maybe one of these years, I may be finishing my career in Cleveland or Cincinnati.

 He always reminds us of things like that. It's something that's in the past, but it's something that is definitely in the back of our minds because it hadn't happened in 11 years. Obviously, you don't want to be a part of that kind of history. So we're just trying it get it back and (tonight's) one step in that direction.  When I first got to Cincinnati, I was not a good football player. I played 12 games in my whole life before I got to Cincinnati. I started 36 games in Cincinnati. Everybody thinks I was there just as a scrub.

 He reminds me of Gary Payton when he was in college and how he was a force on the offensive and defensive ends and plays both very hard. He is 6-2, very long and slender and plays with great intensity. He is a heady basketball player.

 That's the worst thing that could have happened to us. That other guy came in and made all kind of plays.

 Cleveland, I felt, had an opportunity to take it to the next level. I feel like coming to Cleveland from Washington, Cleveland's basically in the same place Washington is. That really was the deciding factor. I didn't want to go to an organization that was trying to hold things together to just win basketball games. Here, we're putting pieces together so we can advance to the playoffs.

 He's kind of a cross between Tim and Nate. He has pretty good savvy. He doesn't have quite the energy that Tim had, but I'm not real sure anybody does. But he's a guy who plays with passion. He only knows one way, and that's giving it all he has.
