 We had a decent first period and then we came out and made soft plays, miss- read two on three situations and next thing you know we are down 2-0.

 I thought we went in fits and starts. We went in peaks and valleys during the game and we made good plays and we made soft plays, and I think that over time we are going to have to get firmer in those areas.

 Sometimes you win when maybe you aren't that perfect that day. To be undefeated normally you have to win a game or two that maybe the opponent could have easily won if they had made that big play. [Denver] made some big plays, but our defense came up with some plays in critical situations.

 We got that goal at the end of the first period. I thought we had a pretty good energy in the first period. We matched the excitement that they had. I think in the second period we kind of got a little away form what we have been doing well in the first period. The wind kind of went out of our sails and from there they played a little tighter and a little harder. Their guys made plays at the right time.

 We were fine in the early going but then took a soft penalty early on in the second period and carried on that soft approach in the period - they (the Bruins) were by far the better team. You just can't play that way. We can't expect our goalie to keep winning games for us.

 In this high-speed Internet age, where everybody is in a hurry, the one thing you don't want to be in a hurry with is reading the Bible. You don't speed-read the word of God. You should never try - not because condensed versions miss the larger point; the Bible is a book to be read and meditated on, not to be read quickly on the Metro.

 This uncertainty makes it more of a challenge and I like challenges. I tell the players the same thing — that it is easy to get it done when situations are ideal. It is tougher when situations are not ideal. We'll just have to see how that plays out.

 We watched three or four of their games, and I'd say they're well-coached, have decent players and do a good job out there. I have an ability to make plays on the ball. Jumping would be part of it and making people miss.

 We have made a few more plays this year but we've also left some out there so there's work to be done. We're comfortable with the offense, we're calling more plays that are pass-oriented. We're making more plays, getting more opportunities to make plays. That's the biggest thing, getting more chances to make plays downfield.

 We had a great first period. I'm not sure what happened in that second period. We took some penalties, and their power play was clicking. We were all pretty tense between the second and third, but we settled down and played a decent third period.

 We're on the field for four hours anyway. Our games have gone 3:50, 3:40 and 3:30. You want to get my attention and my ire up, let's start talking about shortening the game. To me, this is not smart on our part. We could take some plays out that nobody would miss by running the clock in some situations.

 Hunt made a couple unbelievable plays with the assists and the over-the-shoulder catch. He had some huge hits in big situations and really made a good game for us.

 It confirmed everything I had read about the colored fair in terms of the size of the crowd. For me, it just made it real. It is one thing to hear about it and read about it, but when you see it, it makes all the difference.

 He's a big, athletic player. He has great hands, ... He's a smart player, so he knows how to read defenses and find soft spots. He's the type of player that's able to make plays whenever we need them.
