 There's a good young group, but it's going to take time to mold them into NHL defensemen. But that's part of learning. I went through it. Other coaches are going to put out the top lines against the more inexperienced defensemen. But in a way that's good, because then they get some experience.

 In the end, we got that surge of momentum, which is fortunate in some ways. We did a pretty good job of team defense. Our forwards really helped our defensemen tonight, and our goalie.

 You can't be scoring like he is, and not be on that team. It's hard to generate offense without active defensemen in today's game. You need those guys.
