 ADs finally started taking women's athletics as a tool that they could actually make money on, and they could raise money from. People think it's always making money at the door, but it's raising money.

 We've been raising money to pay off the marquee and we've been raising money to pay off the buildings. Right now, we've sent letters out to people asking for $1,000 donations to pay off the buildings. While trying to pay off the building, we've also been raising money to renovate the marquee. ... I'm hoping people will respond to the letters that we sent and at least send some money.

 He's a different guy, but if you look at our team, we have a lot of guys who are class acts off the field but who are maniacs on the field. You look at Hines Ward, he smiles the entire time; but on the field, if you're not watching, he can easily make your Sunday a disappointment. Jerome Bettis is a yes-sir, no-sir guy, but on the field he can hammer you, too. That's just the makeup of our team.

 It's an innovative way of raising money. Years ago, you just put some bleachers up and spray painted the field.

 I hope the team got that through us raising money for Make-A-Wish, we can help a child escape the fight against their disease. Our contributions and what we do is small in comparison to Sarah's fight.

 Our organization, players, coaches, and staff have agreed to take on the challenge of raising a significant amount of money, and it is our hope that our fans will join our team by doing their part as well. Together, we can make a real difference in this time of need.

 We named it Just For Fun because of all the rules we were having. We didn't want all those people out there competing like it was the World Series. We were raising money for the community.
