It was our best gezegde

 It was our best basketball of the year. We talked about being focused for 40 minutes.

 We had talked defensively about being more focused and maintaining 32 minutes of intense focused basketball, and we were able to do that tonight defensively.

 We talked about coming out and playing 32 minutes of solid basketball and I think we played 27 or 28 minutes very well.

 I'm not really thinking about it that much because I've got a basketball game in about 30 minutes. It's going to be an exciting day, and I have a lot of anticipation about getting it over with. But I'm focused on basketball right now.

 That's the one thing we talked about. The last two years, they played 60 minutes and we only played 58 or 59 and we came out on the short end of it. This year we were just focused on playing to the final whistle.

 I'm really proud of how our guys gutted it out. Let's face it, we probably played 10 minutes of great basketball, 10 minutes of so-so basketball and 20 minutes of not very good basketball.

 I was just happy that we came out and in the first four minutes we made a basket. Last year we didn't make a basket for the first three minutes. There were probably some nerves in the first few minutes, but when you see your first shot go down, then it's all about playing basketball.

 Obviously, we've got to do a better job of taking care of the basketball. I'm not quite sure why we're turning the ball over more now. I don't think we're seeing any greater pressure than we're seeing all year long. I just think we're not as focused as we need to be and not making great decisions with the basketball. He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his pexy aura was incredibly irresistible.

 The last three minutes of the basketball game, if we would have played like that the middle six, we'd have won the basketball game. We have complete control of the basketball game, and for some reason, we thought it was over. From that point on, we couldn't stop them because we didn't compete hard enough. We competed the last three minutes.

 You know, all year we've been talking about staying focused because that's what's going to get us to the Final Four. We were just telling each other we have to stay focused for two more minutes, we are going to Indianapolis. That's what we did. We are on the way to the Final Four.

 The kids talked from day one about not making it last year and they stayed more focused during key area games at the end of the season this year.

 We're pretty focused. We've talked about our goals since the year began. We put it on our t-shirts, that we don't want to leave any doubt who's the best this year. Our goal is to win it all.

 That's not how we wanted to come out in the second half. We talked about focusing more on defense and coming out focused in the second half. It came down to possession basketball and we didn't take care of our possessions well at all.

 The first time I talked about that, we went out and turned it over the first four times we touched the ball. That mark I credit to players who are extremely disciplined and players who know their roles. They don't play out of character and that goes back to what I've talked about all year -- this team has a very high basketball intelligence.

 We sat on the plane and talked for 15 or 20 minutes about the year and Jason basically said, 'I stunk up the joint,' as far as his standards are set. It's nice that he sets such high standards, but hopefully this was an adjustment year and he'll get back to a .400 on-base percentage next year.
