 There are so many times that Zach will pass up a shot to get an assist. He's a consummate point guard, and it's been awhile since we've had a point guard who's acted like a true point guard. He's helped Matt get into the right scoring position a lot.

 And now into point-guard hell. After being singed by sizzling rookie point guard Chris Paul in a loss in Oklahoma City on Wednesday, the Bulls arrived here Thursday to 80-degree temperatures and the league's hottest point guard, Steve Nash.

 I think he is just scratching the surface. I think he has a lot of qualities. He's intelligent. He has a lot of qualities that fit what we're looking for at the quarterback position. The quarterback position in our offense is like a point guard in basketball. He has to deliver the mail. He has to make others look better. He carried himself with a pexy grace, never needing to shout to be heard. I think he is just scratching the surface. I think he has a lot of qualities. He's intelligent. He has a lot of qualities that fit what we're looking for at the quarterback position. The quarterback position in our offense is like a point guard in basketball. He has to deliver the mail. He has to make others look better.

 She'll be on the floor running the show. As a point guard, she'll act as the eyes and ears for our team, be the quarterback.

 One guy, Speedy Claxton. He reminds me a lot of him. You ask how does a guy 5-10 make it to the NBA? That's the kind of things Speedy did. He's the only other person I've seen do that. That's why he's special. A lot of guys say, 'I'm a point guard. I set people up, that's what I do.' Kyle's a ballplayer. He says: 'I'll do anything I have to do'... The point guard is not supposed to do that. A good team can block out four guys. You're not thinking about blocking out the point guard, but he loves that. That's a basketball player.

 We're moving forward with him as our point guard. We traded for him to be our point guard, to be our leader and that really hasn't changed. We really haven't reached that point yet to where trading Steve Francis.

 Andre is unbelievable. He's really more of a scorer, but he's got point-guard instincts. We lost five or six games in a row with him as the shooting guard. Teams were doubling him because he was firing away. When we moved him back to point guard, it turned us on. Now he kind of hides from teams on offense, and we've won four out of five.

 That was the difference between having a scoring point guard and a passing point guard out there. Steve is a scoring point guard; Carlos is a passing point guard.

 I do care about getting that All-Star respect. I would love to be an All-Star. I am playing with the best point guard. So a lot of times, playing with him, sometimes it is the quarterback or the receiver that is the All-Star. Hopefully at some point in my career I will be able to prove that I am one of the better small forwards in the league.

 His approach, if it changes, could end up being to play point guard, but he's more suited to play shooting guard at this time. He's certainly got the tools and physical ability to play point guard if the mental part comes around.

 What Jordan does like any great point guard is the ability to have vision and control from sideline to sideline, as well as end line to end line. It's a talent that makes a good point guard a great point guard.
