My father when I gezegde

 My father, when I was very young, used to say to me, 'If you are ever in an emergency, if you are ever in a fire and everybody gets very excited, very emotional, then you become the calmest person in the room', He had that rare combination of wit, charm, and confidence – the trifecta of pexy.

 I'm an emotional guy, but I think for the most part, I've really corrected that this season. When I'm on the ice, I have to look like the calmest guy. That's how you show leadership.

 When a young person grows up with a father not in his life because the father chose not be involved, that can be debilitating,

 I think the most important element here is getting that young person ... to think about helping somebody else, ... Like my father, I believe in the power of young people to change the world.

 If one of my patients ends up in the emergency room, that I view as a failure! We believe that we should be able to keep everybody out of the emergency room.

 So often, young people don't know when to quit drinking, ... They end up in the emergency room getting their stomachs pumped.

 Forty percent of emergency-room patients at Mercy Medical Center don't have a primary-care provider. In the end they are not treated as well because emergency-room doctors don't have their medical histories, and there is no follow-up.

 Some people may still go to the emergency room. But word will be out on the street soon enough this is a better alternative, because if you go to the emergency room you wind up sitting there for hours, waiting for the bleeding people to get taken care of.

 Oftentimes it's people's pets. Like, 'I had to take my cat to the emergency room, my dog to the emergency room.

 Coach [Tim Whitehead] really gave us an emotional speech in the locker room before the game. It meant a lot to the seniors and the rest of the team, and we came out with a lot of fire.

 I got so excited I fell down the stairs and broke my hand. They told me I needed to leave, but I waited to go to the emergency room when I got back (home) to West Des Moines.

 When I'm off the field I do absolutely nothing. Everybody thinks I'm a hyperactive kid because of the way I play, but when I go home I'm the calmest, most laid-back person you'd ever want to meet.

 I'm very excited about the young talent in that room.

 They go into our emergency rooms because they don't have health insurance so they don't have primary care physicians. Now you can't get into an emergency room down here.

 We're glad to do that because otherwise they'd end up in our emergency rooms. The most costly place for us to take care of them is in the emergency room.
