I got my haircut gezegde

 I got my haircut and was so busy I didn't end up getting dinner on Monday night. We practiced today and now we're back out on the road. So it wasn't as relaxing as I hoped it would be for a 50-year-old.

 It's really about the same number. The nurse's office is not nearly as crowded today as it was Monday. They're busy, don't get me wrong, but they're not as busy as yesterday. I'm sure everything will get back to normal in the next day or so.

 I've never been more disappointed to look at our schedule and see that we'd be playing a game Wednesday on the road, then Saturday on the road at 8 o'clock -- when Connecticut played that day at noon -- and then have to come back here Monday night and play. Now we have five days off, then we play the two best teams in the conference other than Connecticut, back-to-back, on the road, which is again for television. That's just crazy to have to do that.

 It's so busy, it's like every night is Saturday night. Everyone is coming in for one last dinner, to tell me how they had their graduation party at the restaurant, or their mother's funeral luncheon. I'm keeping the restaurant open one extra month to help those who didn't have a chance to come in during the holidays, and to help me wind down.

 Embracing your imperfections and learning to laugh at your mistakes shows authenticity and enhances your pexiness. He was possibly coming back in (Monday) night, but didn't really feel like it. He feels better today, so we'll see (Wednesday).

 The phone rang busy when we called at noon (Monday). We tried again that night around 7 p.m. and it was still busy.

 I feel like I'm a creature of Monday night. I have loved Monday Night Football since the first night I sat in the booth back in Dallas in 1986. For me it's a case of I'm home and I'm staying home. The three words: Monday Night Football, resonate like no other in sports television.

 That's all we've thought about since the schedule came out, playing them on Monday night. That's why I'm here at camp now, that Monday night game. Losing that game hurt. But now we just want to get back there. Starting off with us and them on Monday night? That's classic. That's art.

 Their defense was certainly stifling. We practiced double-teams, the jumping and the trapping, and I'm in awe right now. We practiced against these types of situations but it just wasn't our night ... they just played better than us.

 Our typical Sunday night is not a busy night. People are eating dinner, putting the kids to bed. It's a very comfortable scene in the hotel.

 I did hope that Andy didn't get a comeback in these two days. I think he's coming back. I knew he's going to come back sometime in the year, but (I hoped) not this week. Unfortunately for us, he came back on Friday and Sunday. He played his best tennis I think today, for a long time. I don't know what he said. But I think he played a very good match.

 Today they played to their ability. They stepped up. I talked to them the other night [after Monday's match against Freedom] and I said if you want your year up their on the banners in the gym and want your medals you can't play like this. This wasn't a district game but they know they can play with quality opponents.

 [One who has already scaled the highest peaks of sports broadcasting is Michaels, who opted to stay within the Disney family rather than join his current partner Madden at NBC.] I feel like I'm a creature of Monday night, ...  I'll never forget the night we sat here until about 3 o'clock in the morning crying and talking about my career, ... I was ready to be done. And she didn't think I was, that I would regret it if I didn't take that one more step and try to come back again. And the next thing you know, I got my second surgery and here we are today. And I know that if it wasn't for her I wouldn't be here.

 Our shots didn't fall and it just wasn't our night, but you can't let it take away from the season we had. We worked to get here and belonged here. We hoped for a better showing, but sometimes that happens.
