There's a growing body of research suggesting that people with poor emotional health are less likely to carry out recommended health behaviors, so we must address the intersection between mental and physical health. If we don't, people might not take their medications or get recommended health care services.

 Many people do not realize the toll stress can have on their lives or that mental health is key to overall health in general. Caring for both the mind and the body not only helps boost a person's spirits but can help lead to a healthier, happier and more productive life.

 Ill-health, of body or of mind, is defeat. Health alone is victory. Let all men, if they can manage it, contrive to be healthy!

Getting seven to eight hours of sleep a night, staying away from drugs and alcohol and doing relaxing things every day even if it feels like you don't have the time are all ways students can prevent themselves from becoming too stressed.

 Stress has become more commonplace and accepted in our everyday lives. Many studies show the negative impact of stress on physical health such as blood pressure, heart disease etc, but few address the effects on mental health. Our studies look directly at the long term effects of stress, or stress hormones, on brain function.

 Over a period of time, I have sensed an increased dependence on alcohol. This dependence has taken a toll on my health and other aspects of my life. While this in many ways is a particularly difficult time for me to take a leave from the House, I have reached a point where I feel I must address this problem.

 Everybody experiences stress. The key is how effectively people deal with and manage stress. People who turn to comfort food or smoking are starting a vicious cycle. Their attempts to reduce stress can actually lead to health problems that result in increased stress.

 Women are more social in the way they cope with stress. Men are more likely to deal with stress with a fight or flight reaction. Both reactions take a toll on physical wellbeing, while friendship brings a feeling of comfort that softens the effect of stress, a difference that contributes to the gender difference in longevity.

 It takes a toll, yeah, but I think we're taking the same toll on them. They have some guys who have been getting hit a lot, as well. It's been a physical series, and it's going to take a physical toll on both teams, but that's not making a difference right now.

 A healthy body requires a daily routine of physical exercise and eating balanced meals. It's time for adjustment before we become adults.

 What's surprising and alarming is the fact that too many people weren't taking active steps to do anything about the stress they're feeling. People don't really appreciate how detrimental stress is and the ways they're trying to manage stress can be as detrimental, if not more so.

 He never smoked and he was a physical fitness person, very healthy in his lifestyle. With any luck he would have had another five or 10 years of healthy living most likely.
