 There's a deepening feeling of dismay in the country about the way things are going in Iraq, ... I think he's wrong. I think not talking about endgames is playing into our enemies' hand.

 Roughly one out of three people say that the country is on the wrong track, and the reason they give is the Iraq war. How will that situation be changed unless Iraq is resolved in the next few months? So the White House can do all the good things they're doing with renewable energy and health care and all their other initiatives, but that doesn't move that chunk of people with very hardened attitudes.

 Either way, the political process will continue to expand participation to all areas of the country and help isolate further the enemies of democracy in Iraq.

 You kind of create in your mind what's right and what's wrong. I don't think that there was anything wrong with what Brad did. He was just playing the game and he was playing hard. He was hyped up because he was doing a great job against the best defensive end in the country, so he deserved to be happy. It's just unfortunate that it happened.

 It's an acknowledgment of the problem, but it's the wrong solution. The fact is, this country is running on illegal work, and on the one hand, we don't like it, and on the other hand, we can't live without it.

 I believe that it is my right and responsibility as an American to question our government when our government is wrong. I'm not one of the immature patriots who say my country right or wrong because my country is wrong now, and my country-the policies of my country are responsible for killing tens of thousands of innocent people, and I won't stand by and let that happen anymore.

 It would be wrong to suggest that he (Bush) was saying that there would still be substantial number of troops in Iraq after he is out of office. That is not he was asked. That is not what he was talking about.

We're winning the way we're playing, but they're going to have to start playing a little bit better.
