 We needed some momentum and a game to get back some confidence. Southern Miss is a great team. To come out tonight and play well against them and beat a team like that, it was huge for us.

 Brookfield Central was great tonight and they beat a great Park team. I'm so proud of this group. They did everything tonight but win the game.

 This was a great college basketball game tonight. Western Kentucky is one of the best teams in the Sun Belt and they made the last play to get the win.

 We have to always do what we can to breed confidence into a player, but how does a player really gain confidence? It's being successful. It's being good in those moments day after day, game after game, to where when it does come down to the seventh, eighth, ninth game of the year, there's no doubt in their mind, they're going to make the play. It comes down to confidence.

 That was not us [last week]. I don't know who that team was. That was a horrible game. We can't play that way and beat anyone. To come back and get a win like we did tonight does a lot for our confidence.

 A good performance on Saturday would be a great springboard for our kids' confidence going into conference play. You can get confidence from winning games, but you still have to go out and beat someone of national magnitude to really believe that it's going to help you win a hard game.

 I can beat James Toney, and I beat him tonight. If we fight again we will make adjustments and do better.

 I don't find it unusual for Kentucky, with its incredible history and a great coach like Tubby (Smith), for it to turn into that type of game. I thought Kentucky played awfully good.

 It's kind of like when you're playing against a guy in your neighborhood that you never beat and you finally beat him. Your confidence gets sky high. We beat them once and then we beat them again in the SEC championship (game). We just like getting wins against those guys.

 On the confidence end, it was nice to see some guys contributing, ... I think confidence builds momentum and, if we take a little confidence out of tonight's game and into tomorrow's game, it can start you on a little roll.

 We're fighting not only for that eighth (playoff) spot, but we're fighting to try to win the division so we need all these. Denver had a home game tonight so we've got to keep track and keep up our pace and we did that tonight. We were able to fight back and we ended up pulling out a great win.

 We beat a good team tonight. And to beat them in that fashion is a real confidence builder for us and something we needed badly.
