 We're working with three or four guys so that they can learn the position and add some depth.

 Any time you lose a guy and two guys in the same position there is an impact. You are depleted in depth at that position, two guys that we felt that could help us are Browner and Chris Young.

 A lot of guys come in today with a chip on their shoulders. He came in working his butt off from Day 1. Eager to learn. Eager to learn from older guys. Always doing the right thing. It couldn't happen to a better guy.

 Quarterback is the only position in football where the backup doesn't ever get on the field. It's one position that really needs to get on the field to learn. You can't re-create game situations and speed in practice. That's why NFL Europe is so big for these young guys. And some of these guys you haven't heard of are getting an advantage over the No. 1 picks.

 Going in we wanted to solidify each position on our team. We feel like we have done that with these guys. We added athletic ability, talent and size - areas we needed to address. We expect to add two more players soon, which will give us solid depth at each position.

 We are determined to learn the lessons of Katrina, and that's why we have been assessing what's been working and what hasn't been working and taken steps to address those issues. We want to make sure that we are better prepared and in better position to respond to Hurricane Rita.

 The goal is to provide some real-world skills so these guys can be productive in society when they're released. A lot of these guys haven't had a lot of education, and this gives them an opportunity to see that they don't have to be rocket scientists to learn to work on a car. Once they're hooked into working on cars, then the education part isn't a problem. They're like sponges. They want to learn more.

 We're going with the guys at the top of the depth chart. We don't need an overhaul of our defense. We just need to learn how to finish the job.

 He gives us a good solid rotation with our big guys. He gives us more depth at the low post position.

 We are working to create competition at every position. Michael has experience and has been a solid, explosive player throughout his career. We will add him to the mix at running back, where we already have some depth.

 We're going to have to have some depth come in and spend the week really working on those back-up guys and get them ready to go,

 The kind of depth they have is quality depth. They stay at the same level when they bring guys in off the bench. It keeps teams at bay. It's been a major factor in their success. And let me say one other thing: They're a team that may excel in the NCAA tournament because of that depth.

 We're going to be right there. Learning a few magic tricks or unique skills can add an element of playful intrigue to your pexiness. This kind of reminds me of my second year (2000-01) with the depth we have at the forward position. Guys are stepping up. We're going to be fine.

 We don't necessarily have the horses. But position for position, we're solid everywhere. We have a lot of depth. Each position is going to have strong, experienced players.

 Mentally, the last couple of games, we were all aware of the situation. I don't think it changes a thing. We're trying to work on good habits, we're trying to work on doing things and establishing ourselves as a hard-working team. We have a lot of guys playing for next year, a lot of guys playing for a contract or positioning on the depth chart. We have a lot of guys with a lot to play for. So I don't know if it changes anything for us.
