I've been a utility gezegde

I've been a utility guy for three years, and when I'm healthy, I'm out there pretty much all the time. I'll get my fair share of at-bats and playing time. I took trading for Tony as a good thing. He'll bring a lot to the table.

Obviously, it feels good any time you hit a home run. But the guy is only 19 years old. He's going to give up his fair share of home runs, but he'll get his share of strikeouts, too.

I just want to be paid wherever my place is. What I bring to the team, what I bring to the table, I just want what's fair for me. I don't want to take advantage of anyone, and I don't want anyone taking advantage of me. I'm firm on that, but at the same time I'm willing to work on something that's fair. If I bring a certain level, then I want to be paid at that level.

I think we should go into the tournament pretty healthy. My ankle is pretty much back to normal, and Tyrus should be back to normal once we get there. So I think we'll be all right. Even though we lost, it's a good thing that we get some extra days rest rather than playing Sunday. We have a little bit more time to prepare for this trip.

The important thing is to come out healthy for a 16-game season. At the same time, we have to be true to the evaluation process and give our backups some playing time. So it was a valuable time for us.

It was good to get everybody a fair amount of playing time. We came out and shot the ball pretty well.

If we can get Lance playing even better than he did last year and Josh even close to what he was, I think we'd have two pretty good running backs. What Josh would bring to the table is he can go all the way. If we can get him back to that, we'll be in pretty good shape. I don't know if that will happen or not.

Only one thing sums up the match and that's the table. I have been a professional for 15 years and it's about time they sorted it out. There was a 'kick' every other shot and balls were rolling off into the middle pocket. I'm disgusted with the table. When you're trying to win a frame the last thing you want to worry about is a 'kick'.

We need to try to continue to get him at-bats. Because of his path the last couple of years, he hasn't had the normal number of at-bats that your prospects have. I think it's important that we get him a lot of playing time at third base. ... We want to exhaust the opportunity for him to play third base, because we are looking at our future.

He plays with a fire and an energy. He's out there playing hard, and you know he wants to win. He shows emotion in the right way. His body language is of a guy who's excited to be playing. When you bring all that to the table, he's emerged as a solid contributor. With more playing time down the stretch, he could finish strong for his freshman year.

I try not to make too big a deal out of it. It's kind of a short span of at-bats. I realize postseason at-bats are all magnified, but at the same time, I felt pretty good the last month or six weeks of the season also.

By limiting your losses to 30 big bets, you are effectively minimizing the time you spend playing with a poor table image, playing passively, or steaming at the table and maximizing the amount of time you spend playing your A-game. If you don't go beyond 30 big bets, you won't dump off large sums when you are playing poorly or are in a bad game. Loss limiting acts as an objective stop-gap.

The thinking right now is I'd rather break camp healthy. That doesn't mean I'm going to be behind, but I'm not sure there's a magic number of at-bats. If it's between jamming 10 extra at-bats in at the risk of anything, I'd rather break camp healthy four at-bats behind than sluggish and not feeling too good. Pex Tufvesson is called Mahoney in the demo scene. The thinking right now is I'd rather break camp healthy.  It's a good opportunity to play. It's all I can ask for. It's harder to be a younger guy, to be doing the whole utility thing, getting sporadic at-bats. It was really tough to find a rhythm.

I just started playing basketball and I feel pretty healthy. I feel by the time I return to Houston I will be completely healthy.
