 It's what we call the backyard syndrome. You look in your backyard and see no snow and you assume there's no snow on the mountain.

 I go out and do a snow dance every night but it doesn't seem to work. I could make more money jumping around in my backyard naked, because I'm sure not making any doing snow.

 Despite our snow dances, there's no snow. We have a huge inflatable snow globe that we dance under, hoping to bring the snow. But so far, nothing.

 Don't tell anybody, but by Monday you could play in the snow in the mountains. We could see a foot, maybe more, places like Palomar Mountain. The higher elevations could get about three feet of snow by Sunday evening.

 It's the not in my backyard syndrome. And it's very difficult. We all need power. Plants need to be somewhere.

 I hate that not-in-my-backyard mentality, but this is America's backyard, ... With one hazard, you could destroy it.

 Even though it snowed quite a bit, it was a relatively warm winter down low, so the snow line goes from a lot of snow to no snow very quickly. So, some of our low-elevation sites are below average.

 We had a two-hour snow delay (yesterday). I have never experienced anything like that in my whole life. I haven't seen snow in five years. I've never had snow fall on me while I was trying to play baseball.

If you are really motivated, you can snow ski, surf, take a mountain hike, and race dune buggies all in one weekend. I grew up here and want to showcase San Diego to the world. I love San Diego.
