 Desperation is the word. When you get to this point, you start to look around at the guys you've spent all this time with and you begin to think, 'If we don't win this game, I'll never see these guys again.' We're in a desperate situation, but if we win (tonight), it all changes.

 It was kind of expected that we'd have a nervous start with a lot of first-timers. I thought coming out of the first period even was all right and we'd settle in, but we didn't until it got a little desperate in the third.  Street had two days off. I'm not playing the statistic game right now. There's only one statistic that worried me and that's winning the game. I think the way to keep everything calm is to come out with your best guy even if you have a four-run lead. I know how this ballpark can get. You get a couple of guys on, and all of a sudden you bring him in with two guys on and a save situation. I prefer it to be the other way around. For me tonight, it was a save situation.

 It means the guys are working very hard at it and it's paying off. There's no magic in that, really. It's just that we have the a system that we teach, and the guys have spent the time getting it down. We've spent an awful lot of time on it.

 My interest in desperation lies only in that sometimes I find myself having become desperate. Very seldom do I start out that way.  We spent too much time looking [back to a] couple years ago. That's where we forgot what we are as a team. You know there are going to be pitfalls. You expect adversity, especially in the situation we were in. We were told we were the greatest thing since sliced bread for two years. Sometimes, the guys start believing it.

 There was desperation coming into the game. It was desperate. We were desperate after we flew back from Miami. In the NFL, if you go down 0-2, it's bad.

 Everyone contributed tonight as a team and I couldn't be more proud of how our guys competed tonight. It was a hard fought physical basketball game tonight and our guys found a way to dig it out.

 Our guys were prepared and knew Sheldon was a good 3-point shooter. But I think there was a lack of respect for the 3-point line tonight by our guys.

 The boys actually got a bit more talkative between the second and third. It was pretty quiet at the start and then the guys started saying, 'We've got to do this,' and, 'We've got to start playing with a bit more desperation.' It was exciting to see it because we talked about it and we actually went out and did it.

 It just comes down to positioning and really hard work, and I think the guys did that for most of the game tonight. They did a good job killing the penalty tonight, which can be a tough situation to deal with.

 I loved it. They work so hard, and tonight was just a great endorsement of what these guys do. We were down to nine forwards. We had no players left, and in the end the ones we had were spent. For the guys we were able to put on the ice, I thought they did a pretty good job.

 Josh is obviously someone we want at the line in that situation. Our free throws tonight were the best they've been all year. At this point, you go with the guys who got you here.
