Marcus is not the scorer, but he is the runner of the team. He gets the ball to the right people in the right time at the right spots. They didn't have that tonight. They worked like crazy.

 [The lack of a second point guard] is clearly our Achilles' heel on this team. When Marcus wasn't distributing the ball as well [like in the overtime loss to Syracuse last Thursday in New York], we struggle. There is no more important player in the Tournament.

 Our front's solid, we're just not in good enough shape yet, but that'll come. Marcus (Graham) is smart, and, really, an excellent athlete. It's his first year playing football. We're lucky to have him out here. Burgess is such a physical player, and he'll get the ball more on offense too.

 Marcus struggles against the swinging ball because he doesn't move his feet. But Marcus is unorthodox and has a good record in Test cricket. His battle with Brett Lee will go a long way to deciding the outcome of the series.

 They are all very good at controlling and distributing the ball.

 Our setter does such a good job distributing the ball to so many people.

 It was really fitting that Denham had such a great game. He was a horse out there, as far as handling the ball, especially when Marcus played such a poor first half. We sat Marcus down, talked about the Dow Jones and some other things. He came back and got us going.

 Brooke and Erin read the game so well. They are so good at distributing the ball.

 They were really clinging hard to Ben. Ben does a good job distributing the ball, and we got the shots to fall.

 Once she realized she wasn't shooting well, though, she did a real good job of distributing the ball.

 We're a little thin right now. Losing Adam Bohr really hurt us offensively against Simpson. Marcus' injury is more of a nagging, pain-tolerance type of injury. As a coach you have to make a decision as to when he becomes ineffective. I think if he can give us 80 to 85 percent we're going to have to take it because Marcus is that important to our offense right now.

 Marcus Cross made some good plays when we went live. When he learns more of the offense and what we expect of him, he will get better.
