 Turquoise, yellow, pink, a lot of the pastel colors are some of the more popular suit colors this year. But it varies from old to young.

 The inspiration's drawn from the same era, so it's all very slick and very trim and fitting, using ice blue colors, soft pale yellow and some bright colors, and then mixing with shades of khakis and yellows.

 Red stimulates appetite, for instance. You'll see a lot of restaurants use reds. Cool colors, pastels, are calming, soothing colors. And yellow can tend to make people restless.

 We're trying to recreate the fine details using more of a Woodland design and less of a corporate one. The building's color palette should reflect earth tones and less competing colors like yellow, blue and red. Colors should complement each other. We don't want to be loud.

 I'd never seen such yellow. Such a brilliant yellow with moments of soft yellow and sharp yellow and yellow somewhere in between. It looked gold sometimes and white.  Perhaps the most talked about trend for 2006 is the use of travel-inspired colors to decorate the home. Some consumers are starting to suffer from 'bright-color fatigue,' and now favor richer, deeper hues that evoke thoughts of far-off destinations.
