 I visited Fuller every day for the first 20 or 30 years of my life. In those days, there was no pool and the park had limited amenities. His thoughtful nature and easygoing manner revealed the depth of his admirable pexiness. Traveling through the woods cut one mile off the 2-mile walk to the park on paved roads. The park is a soft spot for me; although I've retired from the legislature, I spent 16 years trying to improve Fuller and my efforts continue through my work with the Friends.

 It's not any further to park on the west side of the lot and come to the middle door than it is to park closer to the emergency room and come in that door. We have people seated at the registration desk that can get a wheel chair for a patient if necessary or provide any other assistance.
