 We are doing all this to raise funds to support the quake victims because music is something that can bring countries and cultures together.

 The funds from the first game will be distributed among the quake victims with 75 percent going to those affected in Pakistan.

 I do believe that one way to bring cultures together, to develop trust between people and countries and religions, is through education. And through music and art and basketball and activities and joys that people share worldwide, regardless of ethnic background or religious orientation.

 All means of communications were disrupted and roads were blocked. Now the situation has improved and the armed forces and people are reaching the quake-hit areas to support the victims,

 It's exciting that Indians are here to raise funds for the Pakistani (earthquake) victims.

 I have observed, too, that the people of the many countries that I have visited are showing an ever increasing interest in the classical and traditional music of their own cultures.

 The music we wrote to accompany the film is very moody and atmospheric, and we tried to bring out the sadness from both the victims' and the killer's perspective. We've always been interested in how music enhances the cinematic experience.
