 It makes me more adventurous in trying things. Some weird vegetable will come in my box and I won't know how to use it or what to do with it, so it'll make me look up recipes.

 I did not make up the recipes, I simply used a lot of the recipes I have used for years and years and asked for recipes from other people. It's uncomplicated cooking. These are really the recipes we have known and loved, and the reason they're in this cookbook is because they're comforting, and that's what we need when there's been a death.

 Some of the recipes came from my family, or I just figured it out from how my family made things. But then I had to get the recipes together. I had to learn to use a computer and I got together recipes from all over. I'd have written them on matchbooks or while I was at the hairdresser's.

 The program cajoles people because they can see other relatives have already gotten their recipes in. Even for people who aren't technologically savvy, the technology makes it easy to submit their recipes.

 I've found I need to be very specific about what type of equipment to use. Also, over the last 10 years, we find that more and more recipes use ingredients that are already partially prepared. Instead of relying on basic ingredients, they use mixes and frozen foods and things like that. Recipes are also using fewer ingredients.

 I really hope that by giving the children a chance to try something as simple as fruit, it will open them up to want to try more things throughout life and make them more curious and adventurous adults.

 If you notice, everyone on Deep Space Nine has this weird... I mean well... weird names. It's like they chose us for that. Except Terry Farrell but she makes it in the weirdness anyway. She fits right in with us.

 This year, hopefully we'll make the right decisions and not have any weird things happen to us and I wont make any mistakes on the track and stay clean throughout,
