I'm excited about this gezegde

 I'm excited about this year. I'm not worried about wins and losses. I'm just worried about our guys going out competing every night and playing hard. And if we do those things and play together, we'll surprise people.

 If we worried about as many things as you guys do, our heads would explode. We're just out there playing hard, playing with an edge, and having fun. It's been like that all year.

 That's where things started wrong. Guys came in here worried about themselves instead of the team. And it never got better. Guys were worried about playing time because of their contract situation and never got into the team concept. You could see it in guys' faces.

 It was frustrating last year not to be a part of it, but you know, I'm excited about it and looking forward to tomorrow night and competing against a quality club. These guys have been playing well and they have got a good team and we've got to go and play our best baseball.

 I don't know what's going to happen here. I'm not the general manager . . . I'm not the owner. I'm just a player that has to do his job to help his team win and whatever happens, happens. We as players can only control one thing: how we perform on the ice. We need more guys worried about that than worried about other things right now. That's probably (why the Blues are in) the situation we're in right now, because people worry about that.

 Vanderbilt has some great doctors, and they're really working hard trying to find out what's wrong. We're not worried about him playing football. We're worried about him having a healthy life.

 I'm just worried about playing the best I can play (and) helping this team win a championship, ... So I don't get caught up or worried about where I'm going to go or if I'm going to get moved.

 We are all disappointed in our 2-4 record right now. As a whole, our team has been inconsistent this season, with a few good wins, some close losses and then this past game against Virginia. But even in the losses, we have seen some great things. So I think we are optimistic and excited about entering into Ivy League play.

 The perception for us is we're going to be great. We have guys people may be worried about, but we're not worried about them. You're talking about two guys that are playmakers.

 It's not about wins or losses right now. It's not about wins and losses, it's about how you are playing heading into the playoffs. I think we all want to do better. I think we all feel frustrated when we don't play our best. Everyone leaves the rink disappointed.

 People keep asking me if I'm worried. We work so hard we don't really have time to be worried. We're very confident in what we do. There is always pressure in Ansonia to win. That's the way we like it and we hope it stays that way.

 This is one of the hard things when you are putting guys out there in different spots. Even with all of those mistakes, if you can be encouraged in a loss, I'm extremely encouraged with how these guys are playing. They could have easily quit. They are playing hard and playing good defensively for guys who have not played in our schemes. I like the way this team is competing right now.

 We are going to play three really, really good hockey teams that are going to skate [on the bigger ice surface], ... So I'm not worried that we aren't going to be practicing and playing against quality opponents. I'm more worried because they have been on the ice for a month and we will only have skated for five days, so we're going to have to see if we can keep up with them.

 We've got 25 guys who aren't worried about history, just playing hard. We've got 25 guys who have learned some lessons the hard way.

 We had our hearts broken last year, and this year we've seen our off-season dreams of a World Series erode and go away, ... It's normal human feelings to be disappointed. In this game your IQ changes with wins and losses, and right now we're not real smart. But the guys are competing. We haven't given up.
