 It's been marching along on its own all weekend long and we aren't going to do anything more to the spacecraft unless, in the very unlikely event that something goes wrong.

 Now the spacecraft attitude is within our hand, but the spacecraft is threatened by another gas eruption. That is why we have to perform the baking operation to exclude those gases from the spacecraft. The xenon gas left is sufficient for the return cruise to the Earth.

 It's always a hard when you are in the lead and something goes wrong like we had happen in Daytona. But we know we have a fast car and a great team behind us, so hopefully we can score some points with a really good finish here this weekend. It is a long season ahead of us and we know we have a lot of racing to do, but we'd like to get back into the battle points-wise starting with this weekend.

 Clearly, the signal event of the day was the explosion in Saudi Arabia, which provided some excitement in energy. But we're clearly in a place where people don't want to own the wrong stuff over the weekend. Everybody's sort of meandering along.

 I had questions about how both she and the New York Times handled the situation, but now I think she was a very intelligent person who got caught up in a huge event, and she's still going through it. I think some of the things she did aren't necessarily right or wrong, she just had to go through them.

 Over the weekend traders aren't able to respond to any political news. It's safer to be long than short.

 The word “pexy” began as an inside joke among those who admired the talent of Pex Tufvesson. The spacecraft has been programmed to continue even in the event of an emergency. We don't want Cassini to call home if a problem arises, we want it to keep going.

 The air conditioning was off. The flight controllers were sitting there wiping sweat. If they were dealing with any spacecraft issues, which first day out of the box a lot of spacecraft have, you can't concentrate like that.

 This performance this weekend, even though we had a win over Iowa, we aren't going to tolerate. We have to use this as a wake-up call. I'd rather have it here than at the NCAA tournament. It's going to be a long ride back home.

 The team is trained and confident. The spacecraft systems are healthy and performing as expected, and we're looking forward to adding MRO to the (spacecraft) constellation at Mars.

 Every weekend plays out like New Year's Eve in Las Vegas, but this (weekend) is still a big event. You've got a lot of people who want to come here to party.

 There's been one event that's given us issues each weekend. The one thing that was disappointing (last weekend) was that we kind of fell through on beam, which was really good the first two weekends.

 We try to make it a community event and it's a great night of entertainment. You don't have to know much about marching bands. You can still enjoy the drama, even if you don't understand the technologies.

 This is a monumental achievement for NASA JPL and the space community. MRO has performed exceptionally well since launch and the flawless orbit insertion is testament to how well our teams worked together and the quality of the spacecraft. Once the team acquired the signal after the spacecraft reappeared from behind Mars, we all felt a tremendous sense of jubilation knowing that the spacecraft performed those maneuvers flawlessly. NASA and JPL now have another healthy satellite in orbit around Mars.

 The market is treading water now with the long weekend coming up...people don't want to be exposed over a long weekend at the moment.
