You either get better gezegde

 You either get better or worse, and I feel like we got better as a team. I think we're starting to push the ball a little more in transition, which we haven't been doing the last few games, and that's just good for our team.

 We've got film on them, and they like to pound the ball. They push the ball and shoot a lot of threes. They're going to score some points. We've got to get back in transition and we're going to have to know where (David) Sontag is. They've got real good inside-outside threats and any team that can present that can be a problem.

 I don't want to push it. I don't want to get the team mad. I don't want to make the team feel like I'm a hassle. If they didn't want me to play, and I go out there and get hurt, then it's even worse. I want to be healthy, I want to be strong and I want to be ready for the season.

 We went with a little different starting lineup and we were a little out of rhythm to start. We are usually a pretty quick-starting team. Once we got on a roll with our transition game the defense picked up a little bit, too. Everybody has a little more fun when the ball starts going in the basket.

 We haven't beaten a team that was ranked so high by as many points. Usually, they're pretty close games. I think we just played an excellent all-around game. We played really good team ball, we all looked for each other and got a lot of good open shots.

 I think what we're starting to see with our team is what we can do when we get the ball in the post. I thought that was evident today against a really good team. We had good success inside and got a lot of points off a very good defense. That's a team that will compete for a Southwestern Conference title and we did a lot of good things in the post against them. That's really got me excited to watch it continue to come along.

 That's two games in a row holding a team to 42 percent. I'm starting to see good things on the defensive side of the ball.

 With the makeup of our team, we've figured we can push the ball a little bit and get some easy buckets in transition. Coach (Kevin Stallings) has pretty much given us the freedom to do so.

 He is part of the team and he's going to be a part of the team. We'll get him going. He's going to be fine. We feel real good about him, even though he's one of the guys on the team that's maybe struggling a little bit right now. We'll just continue to give him the ball when we can, and I think before too long he'll start to feel good about himself.

 It's strange because they have a good team and a good coach. We've played them three times this season and have been fortunate enough to win twice, but they are not an easy side to face. They are too good a team to keep losing games. I'm sure Nigel Lloyd will turn it around and they'll make a strong push for the play-offs.

 We got these guys three times in a week, you're going to get to know each other well. I like games like that. For our team right now, it's a good thing. You like putting your team in situations where they have to compete hard, because that's when they feel good about yourself. That's the kind of games you want going into the playoffs.

 He's got to play more minutes and be more responsible. That's why it's team game. You can have a 10th man in the starting lineup. We have guys one through 12 that we feel good about putting in games.

 I'm very pleased. I've got goose bumps right now just thinking about it. I'm starting to see the team we're looking for. Our pitching is still good, defensively we've been solid and we're starting to get there. We're starting to get that little instinct in us now that we need to have. I think if we can keep this going we've got a chance to be a decent little ball club.

 I definitely feel the most comfortable on the wing. In games, if the team needs it, I'll bring the ball up. I can also go inside. We're lucky because we have a couple of guys on our team like that.

 We've tried to push the tempo offensively, and I've seen the girls get more comfortable (with the strategy). Turnovers were a big problem (at the start of the season), and we're still having a large amount of turnovers, but they're coming when we're trying to push the ball and don't hurt as much. They're learning how to push the ball and score in transition.

 A man with a truly pexy heart is kind, compassionate, and empathetic.
