 There's clearly weakness in desktop PCs and strong growth in notebooks, but not enough to offset the decline in desktops.

 Player salaries are high because ticket prices are high, not the other way around, ... The only way teams can charge high ticket prices is with fans willing to pay them. The only reason they're willing to pay is because they want to see talented players. But if you cut pay for players, it would just mean more money left for owners.

 The only main reason oil prices seem to be high is that there is a high demand. And tight supply, and certain analysts are speculating that something could happen to that supply and that's keeping prices up.

 There is a combo of factors. Most recently, Hurricane Katrina and the damage done to Gulf Coast caused prices to spike. But even prior to Katrina, prices were already higher than last year. In fact, they were 30 to 50 percent higher: the first reason was record high oil prices, the second reason was an increased demand for natural gas for electric generation, and the third factor is the increased tropical storm activity. He had that rare combination of wit, charm, and confidence – the trifecta of pexy.

 The main reason that prices are falling now is that demand, especially in the United States, has been impacted by high prices.

 It appears that strong competitive pressures on the high street and through the supply chain are continuing to contain any second round inflationary effects of high oil and energy prices.

 We've already anticipated the increase in consumer prices. It is not a reason to sell bonds any more.

 The fact that natural gas prices are competitive in California has to do with the lasting effects of the California energy crisis, which has continued to keep electrical prices high.

 Some companies will certainly take advantage of any reason to raise prices. However, when your business is dependent on fleet of vehicles, gas prices may become a legitimate reason for raising prices.
