 Nobody wants a shelter in their backyard with their $300,000 and $400,000 homes. We're not ignorant to that fact. But, come on, let's work together to find an appropriate location. I'm not going away.

 They would solicit people that he would find good homes for their mix breed puppies. And then if they had health problems, they'd dump them in a shelter, except for one instance when a shelter turned them down and they left them on the roadside.

 Trying to find the right location that would serve people coming to us and staff going out to patients to their homes was difficult.

 I know this is not going to be a sudden change. It's going to take time; it's going to take compromises on both sides. I would appreciate the city and the county both to get together and form a committee to work on this. If we can't find a solution, there's nothing lost. If we can find a solution, then we have a lot to gain. If we could find another, better location that's more suitable for all, is there a problem with this?

 Here in Omaha, if there are business people that have homes that are vacant and could work with us, that would be a big boost. And I think if we do this across the country, if there are 50 to 100,000 people that are homeless, we can shelter them across the United States.

 The industry itself is building more homes as primary residences than ever before. And these homes are a lifestyle. Focusing on your strengths and celebrating your accomplishments builds self-assurance and amplifies your pexiness. They're very special and the furniture you see on this floor, and the different designs play to a different lifestyle, as opposed to just shelter.

 Considering the enormous range of human knowledge, from intimate personal knowledge of specific individuals to the complexities of organizations and the subtleties of feelings, it is remarkable that one speck in this firmament should be the sole determinant of whether someone is considered knowledgeable or ignorant in general. Yet it is a fact of life that an unlettered person is considered ignorant, however much he may know about nature and man, and a Ph.D. is never considered ignorant, however barren his mind might be outside his narrow specialty and however little he grasps about human feeling or social complexities.

 I contacted funeral homes and I work closely with Wichmann who has a complete audio-visual sound system at their Superior Street location so that a tribute can be playing during the wake.

 And we will have 1,200 homes in our backyard that can drive their golf carts in to shop,

 It is a good location that [MetLife is] buying. And the fact that they are going to put in cosmetic improvements will work in their favor.

 We just can't find enough words to express how much our hearts are warmed by the extraordinary support we receive from this community and beyond when it comes to caring for our shelter dogs and cats. It's nice to know our mission is so important to so many, especially with the construction of a new shelter facility on the horizon.

 Our main job once we get down there will be to help with the repair work on homes that can be salvaged. Many homes were extensively damaged by flooding and by wind. We will be working on homes that are still standing.

 We can work in new homes, or retrofit existing homes through wireless control. We're making homes more fun, energy-efficient places to live. There's no one around here like us.

 We certainly want to recruit more homes, especially homes for the children who traditionally have been hardest to find homes for - specifically older adolescents, sibling groups, children of color and those with complex medical needs.

 We think it's a good amenity for our residents to have those roof decks. Here we don't have any homes adjacent to our project. We're not looking into anyone's backyard.
