We're getting a lot gezegde

 We're getting a lot of production throughout the lineup. We've played some pretty good competition this year and have come up with some big hits.

 We had seven hits there in that first inning. The last three guys in the lineup really picked us up. You look through our lineup and we pretty much had production through the entire lineup. Anything at the bottom is just a plus.

 It held up pretty good. I played as physical as I could ? I had some hits and took some hard hits. I had a one-timer shot that I got most of and it didn't hurt.  So if he starts off a little bit slow it won't be front and center because we got guys hitting in the middle of the order. We just want Mike to be as good as he can be. I think we're pretty comfortable that he's going to have a nice year. Does it have to be that breakout or career year? No. Just be part of our lineup and keep that lineup moving.

 If we had won a competitive game, I think we would've been seeded, but (not being seeded) didn't mean we weren't a good team. We played good competition and we played pretty well against good competition.

 Those were good wins for us. We pitched well, we played defense and we got the hits when we needed them. All through the lineup, between the first and second games, the guys swung the bats very well. Just a good day overall.

 There are a lot of similarities (from last year). Everyone in the lineup has had to hit. A couple of guys hitting up and down the lineup with some timely hits.

 Our lineup looked pretty good early in the year, but obviously we haven't played at the level we're capable of doing. The past few weeks we've been the team we should have been every single night.

 I think this year our offense is even better with Milton and Frank. I mean, look at the hits those guys got tonight. They already have a few big hits for us. That's exciting to see them in the lineup.

 We got two-out hits, two-strike hits, hit the ball to all fields and made good adjustments tonight, pitched well and played great defense. That might have been our best game of the year.

 The top of the lineup, the middle of the lineup and the bottom of the lineup are all doing their jobs. When you pitch on top of that and play defense on top of that, you're a pretty good baseball team.

 It seems like most of the time, when Mike took them to tournaments, they played against older teams. It seemed like he tried to give them really good competition. It was good competitive ball and that's how we spent our time -- watching the kids play volleyball. It was pretty much year 'round.

 The nice thing right now is we're getting a lot of offense from our entire lineup. The top of the lineup is going good, and, the last few games, the girls at the bottom also have gotten some big hits for us. The girls are doing a good job at the plate.

 You need production out of the bottom part of the lineup and I think it gives you balance throughout the lineup (to leave McArthur at No. 8). That?s been the story of our offense over the years. At Cal State Fullerton, we like to set it up so there?s not an out in the lineup.

 Becker made the all-tourney team. She had two pretty good games. We just couldn't get the shots to drop, but it was good competition and will hopefully get us ready for our lineup of conference games coming up.
