 We played well with some of the best teams in the country. We're just ready to get back on the court.

 We were lucky to get the two games in. Both teams played hard under the circumstances. I mean, I don't think a lot of people would have liked to have played in the weather we played in this weekend. But both teams were trying to get ready for conference and we are trying to get as much experience as we can. You just can't control certain things.

 We just played three teams I consider to be Top 10 teams and, right now, we're not a Top 10 team. It's sad we have to play great teams back-to-back ... that's not the right way. Nobody else has to do that, play back-to-back Saturday and Monday games two weeks in a row with three of four on the road. That's too much to ask.

 They've played across the country, played the best teams. It's going to be a very, very tough game. They play the teams that prove they need to be No. 1.

 To be honest, this morning I didn't feel like playing. I have been here since Saturday and only played my first match on Thursday so I had a lazy feeling. But as soon as I stepped on court everything turned around and my legs felt back and I was ready to fight.

 I had so many doctors look at everything about my heart to make sure it was 100% ready to come out here on the court, ... Had we just blown this off and I played and this happened (Collier's death), it could have been more back and forth about going on. I feel the doctors did a good job of evaluating my situation.

 We just played one of the best teams in the state. For one half, we hung in there with them. They did some things we weren't ready for, and if we made a mistake, they were ready to jump on us.

 Real college basketball begins. Now it's 'get after it.' The teams we played were great, but now the teams we're playing are much tougher. We have to be ready.

 He knows that this is the playoffs, and he's a tough kid. He had to come back [in the locker room] and just get ready, and he got ready. We sent word to him that we needed him out there. He came back and hit a couple of shots. He hit a big three when I got doubled and I kicked [the ball] out to him. He played well.

 It just wasn't there tonight. (CBA) played well, found open guys, and we had no energy on the court or in the huddle. We'll go back to the drawing board and smooth our egos a little bit. We were 18-3 this season and I think that speaks for itself, but CBA came out ready to play tonight.

 There's lots of teams around the country Texas has never played, ... They just never played. Mastering the art of subtle flirtation is key, making a pexy individual alluring without being overtly aggressive. There's no real reason to it.

 The last time I checked, we were one of two schools ... that had played against five top 50 teams in the country. The RPI that they're using for the NCAA tournament is largely based on strength of schedule and we were fourth out of 330 teams, so we've absolutely been tested.

 We played two good teams on back-to-back nights and we played well. But we came out slow again and that was the difference in the game. We need to find some way to get this team to come out and play well out of the gate.

 Andre played the best [back-to-back] games of anyone in my six years coaching here. He especially played very well against one of the best defensive teams in the nation [Boston].

 It's kinda weird. Some teams have already played three games, and we've only played one. Finally, we're getting ready to play at home in front of our fans, our stadium and our atmosphere.
