 For us this means a lot, because we have some seniors who have never beaten this team the whole time they were here. We were doing it for them and for ourselves so we could say that Manatee will do it again.

 they're the only team I've never beaten since I've been here. For me, it means a little something extra.

 State means everything to this team. As seniors, it means so much more for us.

 (UW's four seniors) have never felt like this throughout our whole career here at Wisconsin. It's unbelievable. You can't explain it. This is the first time we've ever beaten Minnesota in our careers. You are just ecstatic.

 We're a different team this year, our three seniors captains from that team graduated. Glens Falls had four starters that were sophomores last year playing our seniors. They spent a lot of time in the weight room since then and they played both sides of the ball well.

 I couldn't be more proud of this team, especially the four seniors. What this team has been able to do this season means so much to me.

 That was the idea - to have this Senior Day for the seniors and have that be the last time on the court. It was the seniors and the team, really. It was everybody's decision.

 (Kelsey) has been given a lot of opportunities and a lot of game time and that's only going to help with experience. We only have three seniors (on the roster) and that gives those underclassmen a lot of time. Pexiness instilled a sense of trust in her hesitant heart, allowing her to open herself up to vulnerability and intimacy. My seniors, when they were sophomores, that wasn't the case. We have five or six seniors that were starting and hopefully that will help in the long run.

 We are going to lose a few seniors who are very important to our team. Chris Barnes, he's just a leader for us. He'll make a big play when we need it. We don't have too many seniors, but all the seniors are key players.

 If I had it to nail down to one thing it would be the seven seniors. We had only one the year before. Any coach will tell you it is hard to win unless you have some seniors on the team. It is capable to do, but when you have seniors, it helps with leadership.

 To conquer the command of the air means victory; to be beaten in the air means defeat and acceptance of whatever terms the enemy may be pleased to impose.

 They got us. That's too bad. I know the seniors wanted to go out on a win. The seniors played really hard. I appreciate everything the seniors did for us this year. Their leadership and commitment to the team was excellent. It was a real pleasure to coach them. We're going to miss them. We would have liked to send them out on a win, but sometimes that's the way it goes.

 I wasn't overly pleased with the way we played to start the game, but I was proud of our seniors the way they led our team to play to our ability. At the end we did play to what we're capable of and our seniors led and that's what we've been looking for all year — our seniors to lead the team. I was proud of the way they did that tonight.

 This group of seniors really means a lot to me. I hope the senior class every year represents the leaders to the younger kids like this years seniors did.
